Reed spent his Saturday out in the community at the Wyatt Carr Memorial Car Show, supporting an incredible event with an even bigger impact 🚗👏🏻

This year, the Wyatt Carr Memorial raised an amazing $25,404.25 for SickKids, bringing their five-year fundraising total to more than $107,500! Their fall show also collected 170 lbs of non-perishable food for the Clarington East Food Bank.

We’re proud to have our 2026-2027 Orono Fair Ambassador out supporting events like this and connecting with the people and organizations that make such a difference in our community. Thank you to the Wyatt Carr Memorial organizers, volunteers and everyone who continues to support this incredible cause! taken in Orono Fair by @oronofair

Orono, you cute little thing.

antique market finds, quiet creek walks, pumpkin chessboards on a calm afternoon. then the september fair weekend hits and it’s farm animals, sweet treats, live music, and the roar of the demolition derby.

one little village, two very different speeds, a hundred reasons to fall in love 🤍

now you know! Orono is full of surprises. save the fair for next september.

Yesterday, Reed spent the day at Convergence in Oshawa, exploring art, meeting the people behind the installations and getting involved along the way! ✨🎨

One of his favourite stops was the butterfly installation, Kaleidoscope. It was especially meaningful because he has photos of his sister Lily making a kaleidoscope, making the name of the piece a fun connection for him. Underneath the installation were miniature versions of the butterflies, where the artist was teaching kids how to create their own.

Reed also enjoyed chatting with the people behind the installations and even got to leave his creative mark by drawing on the tank from the Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum 🙌🏼 taken in Oshawa, Ontario by @oronofair

Reed jumped right into his first Orono Fair weekend as Ambassador! He waved the green flag at the Truck & Tractor Pulls, showed the CNE Ambassador around, served cider samples in the General Store, handed out ribbons, joined the Cooking Corner Demo, made a full pull at the Kids Pedal Pull and made his way to every event across the fair! 👏🏼🌾

This year’s Orono Fair Horse Show was held in memory of Robert Robinson, honouring an incredible 66 years of dedication and volunteer service to the show

For more than six decades, Robert gave his time, knowledge and heart to a tradition that has become such a special part of the Orono Fair. His commitment helped shape the Horse Show into what generations of exhibitors and fairgoers have come to know and love

It was an honour to remember Robert this year in a place and tradition he dedicated so much of his life to. His legacy will continue to be felt at the Orono Fair for years to come ❤️ taken in Orono Fair by @oronofair
