A couple months ago, @regalhunter came with this beautiful project she had in mind: she wanted to celebrate iconic black models by reproducing some of their iconic photographs.

Without any hesitation I said yes! Such a brilliant idea but also an honour to work with such inspiring creatives. We reproduced nine (9) photographs.

The goal was to celebrate and elevate those who paved the way for black models around the world!

Most images were shot with just one light (you know me, I love my one-light-setup) except 1 or 2 (can’t remember lol).

Thank you Leila for allowing me to photograph you! Tu l’as sauté!! Haha

Thank you to the onset stylist and designer: @mr.offtheclock (t’es trop bon mon gars et qu’on arrête de dormir sur ta barbe lool).

To the one and only @sparks_mua (@ldsparks), you already know! You killed it once again!!

To the best hair company in town @chelbhair @sowkaah thank you for always being there for the “community”! You rock!!

@stylistfabienne thank you so much for your guidance, even you’re away, you’re still with us!

And to those who follow my journey (and shenanigans lol), thank you! I appreciate you all!

Swipe to see the inspiration and BTS shot!

Voici quelques petits moments qui ont marqué l’an passé.

Entre temps, je vous souhaite une merveilleuse année 2026! taken in Around The World by @orpheeokito

Last month visiting Abu Dhabi’s Grand Mosque. I had to bring my camera! This was my 3rd time visiting (visited twice last month because I forgot to bring my camera the first time).

Although I had the 35mm with me, I shot most of it with my 17-40mm lens. taken in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates by @orpheeokito
