Venus made her first visibility as a Morning Star this morning at 27°36' tropical Libra — within three degrees from Spica at 24°13' tropical Libra.

Today Spica also made her heliacal rise along 0°—29° N latitudes. Tomorrow Spica will appear in the pre-dawn eastern horizon along 30°—44° N latitudes. On Halloween along 45°—49° N and on Nov 1st at 51° N (London) and 23° S (Sao Paulo).

Venus will be partile conjunct Spica at 24° tropical Libra, 0° sidereal Libra (True Citra ayanamsa) next Tuesday through Thursday.

Don't forget to make offerings to Venus and Spica this Venus day as they ascend from the celestial underworld. This is their rebirth🪽

Do you have placements within 7° of 24° tropical Libra?

Brady calculates Spica as my heliacal rising star but Alphecca rose afterwards and before my born day in my birthplace, and then I learned that Ras Alhague actually made its first visibility on the day I was born in the location I was born, so I include all three of these... they all resonate too.

How about you? What's your relationship like with this majestic star?

Tonight the lunar occultation of the Pleiades takes place after midnight in my location with the Moon high on the midheaven.

The Pleiades are one of the star clusters that humans have revered through cosmic lore and ceremony across every sky watching culture since time immemorial.

In astrological magic the Pleiades are associated with the ability to See the Unseen, to commune with the spirit and ancestral realms, with heightened magical gifts, including oneiromantic abilities and receiving the revelation of hidden things, secrets, divine mysteries, the occult.

This is one of my favorite lunar transits since the Pleiades are important stars in my nativity and personal lore. It's one of the luni-stellar conjunctions that have drawn me to develop a devotional practice around.

I find it significant that this month the lunar occultation of the Pleiades occurs when the moon is still very bright and in the days leading up to the Holy Days of the Dead. May you make the most of it🪽

The Hunter's Moon by @orphicastrology

Taking place in the 3rd degree of tropical Taurus, the peak of the Moon's exaltation in the tropical zodiac, this full moon arrives conjunct the stars Mesarthim and Sheratan. The luminaries form a hard T-square with Pluto while a combust Venus burns through the solar fires of resurrection in the morning sky.

What I love about this lunation is that it's activating the Healing Stars of the Ashvini nakshatra. Gamma and Beta Arietis are seen as the heads of the Divine Twin Healers, the Ashvini Kumaras who dwell in this asterism.

Nasatya, the ever true, and Dasra, the enlightened giver, are the sons of the Sun god Surya and his principal consort Sanjna.

As children of solar deities and grandchildren of the sky-god and earth-goddess, Ashvini are endowed with the gifts of healing and medicine, governing over health and the sciences as well as the liminal spaces of twilight.

They are invoked as slayers of darkness in their association with the dawn.

Mesarthim (Gamma Arietis) sits at 3° tropical Taurus, 9° sidereal Aries. Sheratan (Beta Arietis) is found at 4° tropical Taurus, 10° sidereal Aries.

The two lights guiding us through this midway point of Venus retrograde by signaling a healing path through Mercury's descent.

Is there a discipline you're inspired to commit to? This lunation can illuminate the areas that need our support by helping us sit with our discomfort long enough to reveal a healthier approach.

What are you devoted to? Discipline is just a disciple's devotion to their divine purpose. It's time to restore your creative disciplines by sacrificing the habits that have distracted you from them.

What did you throw into the fire of the Venus cazimi to purify and transmute? This lunation may further reveal insights for practical remedies. Stay open to receive them.

Community-care through accountability and repair requires maturity and humility. Not everyone is capable or willing to embrace this. Prioritize self-care by listening to your physical and emotional needs.

May this Ashvini moon grant you grace, courage, strength, and trust in the unknown to support the inevitable transformations of the world and within yourself✨🌕✨ by @orphicastrology

Blessed Venus Cazimi 🌟

The final Venus Star Point in tropical Scorpio is happening square Pluto and opposite Chiron Rx. At its peak the Moon will be wedged between Neptune Rx and Saturn Rx, and Mercury will station retrograde revoking from the nodal bendings.

Venus completes her synodic cycle allowing all that needs to die to perish in the flames of the Sun. Are you feeling the alchemical fires of putrefaction and purification?

This retrograde began with Venus stationing conjunct the fixed star Khambalia (Lambda Virginis), marking the left foot of the goddess. Even the Sun kneels here.

What are you relinquishing and surrendering at Her Feet? by @orphicastrology

Depending on your location, Corona Borealis has been lying hidden in the celestial underworld and is preparing to emerge reborn in its stellar cycle in the early predawn eastern sky.

Alphecca, the brightest jewel in the Northern Crown, lies far north of the ecliptic, so those in the northernmost latitudes begin to see its heliacal rise before those in the southernmost latitudes.

Alphecca is one of my heliacal rising stars along with Spica and Ras Alhague. In recent years, she's become a guiding light of devotion and inspiration for me.

Tell me about your love for this star/constellation in the comments below✨ by @orphicastrology

Not just any Mars-Venus square...

As we approach the peak of the dark moon, Mars crosses into the Beehive Cluster, an ominous star cluster also known as M44, Praesepe, Nephelion, Achlus, and Jishi.

This star cluster marks the Ghost lunar lodge in the Chinese system and is called Jishi qi (also transliterated as Tseih She Ke), meaning the "Exhalation of Piled-up Corpses".

Mars conjoining the Beehive Cluster is a transit I've been paying attention to these last number of years. It tends to coincide with violent events and tensions building up on the geopolitical stage.

In an overcoming square to Venus Rx and commanding our Heavenly Queen's descent, Mars has stepped into the Beehive causing it to swarm and sting.

Add some honey to your tongue in your dealings with loved ones this week, and draw your boundaries with those who seek to trespass. Take your ceremonial dagger and cut those binding cords⛓️‍💥
