Late night jam avec Hubert.

Patch details: kick's coming from the Befaco Kickall then mangled by the Bifold. Weird perc is the Plaits modulated by the Batumi. Everything else is coming from the Noise Engineering BIA. On the last video everything is being filtered out by the Synthesis Technology E440, opened and closed by the envelope coming from the Peaks clone (Apex X). Lots of other modulation coming from the Voltage Block.

First time messing around with the #qubit #databender

Machine whispering entropy

Patch notes: Plaits’ playing a simple random melody sequenced by the Voltage Block sent first through the Data Bender and then through the E440 filter. The filter is modulated by the triggers coming from the Varigate 4+ and a slow LFO coming from Batumi (not in video). Final delay and reverb are taken care of by Sealegs. All other modulation that I forget is slow free LFOs coming from Batumi, attenuated by a Quad VCA.

Tense and anxious gloomy late-night patch featuring Intellijel Sealegs.

Patch details: NE BIA is playing the tribal drums, modulated by the Voltage Block. PHmk3 is taking care of the drone, modulated by two LFOs coming from the Batumi (not in video), then sent to the WMD C4RBN filter. Everything is being triggered by the Euclidean Circles, clocked from the Metropolis (not in video). The envelopes for both voices come from the Quadrax. The mix is then sent into the Sealegs for some weirdness and delay.

Here’s the Silver Bullet mk1, mastering a song I made this summer in Magdalen Islands. Last song before completely taking down my studio and moving back to the city. The tranquility of this place will be missed.

Link to the full song in bio.

Just another little downtempo jam. Noise Engineering BIA is doing most of the work. Mutable Instruments Plaits is taking care of the pad. Reverb/delay from Electus Versio.

I always felt the Metropolis was great for creating EBM melodies. Here's a simple and slowly evolving patch made mostly from MI Plaits (lead) and NE BIA (groove). Percussion, vocal samples and arrangement were added later on Ableton (link in bio).

Patching details: Metropolis is sequencing MI Plaits; the BIA is triggered by the Varigate 4+ and modulated by the Voltage Block; the Voltage Block is also modulating the filter frequency on the Wasp; the Happy Nerding 3xMIA is attenuating the modulation while the 3xVCA is taking care of sidechaining the lead to the kick, attenuating and mixing the rest.

If you check my soundcloud link, you'll hear, towards the end of the track, a lead sound made from NE BIA (spacy toms) and IME Piston Honda mk3.

First time messing around with the newcomer, the IME Piston Honda mkiii! This is a vanilla patch compared to what its normally capable of. Just having a bit of fun with my bestie @ttourmentt

Patching details: sequence is coming from Metropolis. The lead is the PHMK3 through Bifold and then through the Wasp filter modulated by the Voltage Block. Kick is coming from the BIA. Electus Versio is there for ambiance.

I wondered if I could make a song from a random sequence. This is the result. Everything was taken care of by the modular. Pure random awesomeness. I added the drums and edited the song later. Hope you enjoy.

Patch details: bass is coming from Mutable Instruments Plaits, then through the Doepfer Wasp filter. The rest is Noise Engineering BIA through a WMD C4RBN filter. Everything is mixed together and sent to the Noise Engineering Electus Versio for some ambiance. The random sequence is coming from the Intellijel Metropolis.

Sleepy modular vibes from space, courtesy of the modulated tails of Electus Versio.

The bassy drone is coming from Mutable Instruments Plaits and the squeaky bells are from the Noise Engineering BIA. Intellijel Metropolis is sequencing the Plaits and Varigate 4+ is sequencing the BIA. The rest is random modulation and some envelopes from Peaks. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the Wasp filter!
