I have to / had to find a way to write/ type/ say something shorter & sweeter than everyone else before time got away. Before the algorithm catches up and decides it’s not for me to see or you to make. Before technology takes over my hands with artificial caress and embrace that feels like television static and aggressive fear.

Fleeing the secretly curated social media scene of personal preparation just for me me me. From the roof top of a cyber police chase, I’m a character that can only come from Hitchcock’s head.

Then you miss the jump to the other building top and there’s only one way back. Doing the
1- 2- 3 step and it’s down down down. Vertigo until you’ve Cracked your skull on the brutally honest pavement, letting the yolk spill your fortitude and fire, and now you’re Humpty Dumpty until everything is up again.

A mystery of identities to self discovery we say, only discovering we free fall in the guise of self preservation and isolation. Saying we need to love ourselves first is the new it’s not you it’s me. But where’s the line? When do you reach the bell that says you’ve officially reached the loving yourself correctly and efficiently stage? Are you allowed to have valleys? Are you living on peaks? Florida Lands, most likely. _______________

Back to the top when I had to write a contemporary diamond in the rough that overstayed and weaseled it’s way back into it’s welcome with the subject of the matter before becoming another dead end star in the Hollywood Boulevard House on the Hill. Off!

Its getting too hot to the touch,

rolling across a bulging landscape of black and silver,

making something new out of random access,

while the blues in the key of abstract plays between two mirrors that peer into what could be,

holding things that used to be,

in a peerless fog of nightmares and fantasies,

who’s soft caress and fingers glide across the skin of the chest

making the head roll back in ecstasy at the touch,

wishing it would drive the road of the bone a little lower,

until it reaches the pine in the fork of the road made between two country raised thighs.
