The Heroes of Baldur's Gate were a company of adventurers who originated in the city they saved from the threat of the Absolute. They traveled to distant lands beyond Neverwinter and even descended into the menacing Underdark. They made many friends and allies during their adventures, along with their fair share of enemies. "The room was silent, lit only by a few flickering candles. Shadows stretched across the walls like fingers ready to grasp anyone who ventured in.

Orin the Red advanced with a disturbing smile, her blade already stained with dried blood. "Come out," she whispered, amused. "I want to see the face of those who think they can hide from me."

For a moment, nothing happened. Then a hooded figure emerged from the darkness, wrapped in a black cloak emblazoned with the symbol of Shar. The assassin didn't utter a word: he slowly drew his curved blade, a veil of shadow seeming to envelop him.

Orin laughed, a cold, cruel sound. "Finally."

In a flash, he launched his attack. At that same moment, the assassin vanished into the darkness, leaving only a fleeting shadow behind. The Paladins of Shar, also called "Black Guards," are Paladins who have sworn their oath to the Nightsinger. They retain all the martial skills typical of their order. They are employed as defenders of the sanctuaries and often as personal guards of the high priestesses. Their skills are on par with those of the dark justiciars, and their faith is unwavering. Even in the temple at Baldur's Gate, Mother Superior Viconia Devir is often accompanied by this dark order of knights."@songofbalduran @baldursgate3_cosplay_community @festival_del_fumetto

Medaglioni delle anime pure dell'assoluta dal videogioco Baldur's gate 3 , stampati in modo impeccabile da @efestolab3d ! Per la tecnica di pittura ho utilizzato diversi passaggi sempre piu fini di drybrush e un edge highlight finale , nuovi trofei da mettere alla cinta per il mio Tav paladino 👀

After a ferocious clash, where steel, shadow, and blood competed for the fate of the night, Shar's guard stood victorious. With a final, relentless, costly blow, he pierced Cazador Szarr's heart, ending the ancient vampire lord's existence. His body faltered, as the arrogance and power accumulated over centuries of cruelty dissolved into the darkness from which they had emerged. Thus fell Cazador, and with him, the chains of his reign of terror were broken. Gravely wounded, the assassin sought an escape route to return to report the completion of his mission to Mother Superior Viconia DeVir. @songofbalduran @baldursgate3_cosplay_community @festival_del_fumetto

"L'aria del mattino era fresca nel cortile del tempio. Le spade di legno riposavano sull'armeria, ma i due paladini avevano scelto di allenarsi con le loro vere armi, smussate e benedette affinché nessun colpo accidentale potesse risultare letale.

A fine duello si strinsero l'avambraccio nel saluto dei compagni d'arme. Non c'era rivalità tra loro, solo rispetto. Ogni allenamento li rendeva più forti, non come individui, ma come fratelli d'ideale, pronti a proteggere gli innocenti fianco a fianco quando il dovere li avrebbe chiamati.
Mentre lasciavano il cortile, continuavano a punzecchiarsi bonariamente su chi avesse davvero vinto. In fondo, nessuno dei due aveva bisogno di una risposta: il vero trionfo era sapere che, qualunque oscurità li attendesse, avrebbero potuto contare l'uno sull'altra senza alcuna esitazione." @songofbalduran @baldursgate3_cosplay_community @roccacomics

"Cazador was unable to trap Shar's black guard, too adept at hiding, vanishing, and striking from blind spots.
The assassin, for his part, lacked the means to definitively eliminate an ancient vampire lord in a head-on clash. He would have needed preparation, specific relics, or to strike Cazador at the right conditions.
Thus the fight reached a stalemate.
Neither lowered their guard.
Neither fled.
They remained motionless, two predators knowing that their first mistake would be their last. In that shadowed room, even the darkness seemed to hold its breath, unable to decide which of the two incarnations of the night should claim victory."@songofbalduran
