After many years in the Britomart pavilion, Ortolana’s final service will be on 18 October.
With future development planned for this part of Britomart, the time has come to move on.
Before we do, we’d love to welcome you back for one last brunch, lunch, dinner or glass of wine in the courtyard.
Thank you to everyone who has dined with us, celebrated with us and supported Ortolana over the years. It’s been a privilege to be part of the Britomart community.
While our doors here are closing, this isn’t goodbye. We hope to see you again soon at another Savor venue. ❤️

The upcoming construction of Britomart Central, our new building in the heart of Britomart, means we’re having to say goodbye to two of our favourite food destinations: @thestore_britomart and @ortolana_.

The Store’s last day of operations will be Sunday 11 October, and Ortolana’s on Sunday 18 October. They’ve been serving customers in their beautiful garden settings since 2012, and we’ll miss them a lot.

Both of the eateries are closing because construction of Britomart Central is scheduled to start in January, and they’re taking this opportunity to redeploy staff to other venues owned by Savor Group, which include Ebisu, Amano and Viaduct Harbour’s Bivacco. This means all the team members at The Store and Ortolana have new jobs to go to, which is great news.

So now’s the time to book in a coffee, drink or meal and say farewell to the teams. We’re really grateful for all the energy, activity and good food and drink these eateries and the people that work at them have brought to the heart of Britomart over the years 🖤

This is also a good time to clarify that the retailers around Ortolana and The Store - which include Wonder Journal, Deadly Ponies, Trelise Cooper, FABRIC, Alchemy Equipment, Mons Royale, Duck Island, Kiri Nathan and the Spacefor pop-ups - will remain open until Christmas. taken in Britomart by @ortolana_
