Sundays in South Central

This project started with my grandmother asking where she could find a photography book about Black life in South Central LA in the 1940s–60s. I couldn’t find one.

So I’m making one. Starting with archival photos from my own family.

I just graduated from D&AD Shift 🥹✨ An industry-led night school for self-taught creatives breaking into the creative advertising industry and honestly? Its one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I got the chance to pitch campaigns to @airbnb and @diageo take classes at top ad agencies, and create work that finally feels like me. From fashion to real estate to art direction I really pivoted my life to chase the dream I’ve had since forever.
Huge shoutout to my fellow Shifters! y’all are some of the most talented, inspiring people I’ve met and I’m lucky to have gone through this chaos with you 💛
