oh and did i already mention that i hate nothing more than people like mikey shulman trying to sell you a „multiplayer based musical experience where people connect with each other to generate music“ (aka a band), „supported by an ai tool that shows them the ideas they wouldn’t find themselves (aka your musician friend), „creating a meaningful consumption experience“ (aka enjoying listening to music aka THE WHOLE POINT OF IT ALL???)

last month @mc.spirit and i did a residency to explore a new duo setting: portative organ, trumpet, fx. some truly wonderful days at café du pont, countless things to experiment with on this wonderful instrument…

this project is called FERROFLUIDE and it‘s dedicated to exploring genre fluidity, working with simple material through different forms of sound exploration, and a certain ‚simplistic‘ complexity after all…

markus gfeller and chris diggelmann did the sound and they are truly amazing! however i‘m only using sound of the room mics here since my laptop is getting too old to let me mix the multitracks :‘(

4 hating on fascism and for 8 minutes straight
5 we love improv very much (kleiner pisser)

8 trying to solo w/ only one hand to keep it as simple as possible but failing
9 keeping the mood right during rehearsals
10 what my phone sees after it recorded a 30min long video of me playing the piano and deleting the video right after because i realized that i hate recording myself
