Palimpsest no.1 - The bus stop
Videoperformance

This video documents the assembly of a site-specific installation developed during my artist residency at the Museu Bispo do Rosário (Rio de Janeiro). The project aims to rewrite the past over the layers of the present in the Colônia Juliano Moreira neighborhood, materialized through the construction of a bus stop for a line that no longer circulates. Featuring a minimalist aesthetic based on "X" structures to optimize resources, the piece was built completely independently over three months, using salvaged materials from disposal sites and scrap yards.
