Oh FAMU, how I love thee. As I prepare for my final hurrah on this beautiful campus, all I feel is gratitude—for the growth, the grace, and the grind. Who would’ve thought a first-generation college student from Vero Beach, Florida would make it this far? But by God’s grace, I did it… and I did it in THREE!

Nursing school tested me in every way possible. The tears, the doubt, the late nights where quitting felt easier than continuing. But here I am—two years later—with a story of strength, growth, and grace. I didn’t get here alone. God carried me. My people kept me. And somehow, in the middle of the chaos, I found joy, purpose, and lifelong friends. I won’t pretend I’d do it all over again… but I will say this: I’m proud of the girl who never gave up.
