Littéralement, ce nom est la coutume traditionnelle japonaise de contempler la beauté des fleurs.

Elle est souvent associée aux fleurs de cerisier en pleine floraison qui annonce le printemps.

Ce moment printanier pour prendre le temps d’apprécier l’éclosion des fleurs.

Pour féliciter Tohko-san (@totchi3__) pour l’obtention de son diplôme ce premier jour du printemps! Félicitations !

Remercier Tohko-san d’avoir pris le temps pour la traduction de « LILITH, sombre héroïne » : リリトー陰翳、女傑ー

Ceci à la manière de Takuji Ōte pour traduire les poèmes de Charles Baudelaire directement du français.

Prendre le temps pour comprendre, pour symboliser, pour trouver les bons kanjis comme on trouve les bons ingrédients d’un parfum.

A la fois gardienne des traditions, LILITH est une geisha moderne qui transporte les arts.

Elle transporte l'expression de mon idéal d'une parfumerie indépendante, authentique, culturelle et artistique.

Tohko et moi avons contemplé la tubéreuse.

Cette fleur nous a connecté et a connecté nos cultures.

A ton étoile Tohko !

POUR UN PATRIMOINE OLFACTIF [TOULOUSAIN]
Quand la ville rose se raconte par les odeurs.

Le @noviciat.toulouse , nouveau Centre de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine, a ouvert ses portes place de la Daurade dans un bâtiment du XVIe siècle chargé d'histoire (ancien couvent, caserne, école, puis atelier des costumes du Théâtre du Capitole !).

Durant toute cet année, Osmoart et le parfumeur Pierre Bénard Ségu ont imaginé :

- 3 senteurs sur mesure évoquant la chaux, l'argile et la paille — les matériaux de la ville

- Le parfum hydrosoluble de la Violette de Toulouse, diffusé dans les porches du bâtiment lors des Journées Européennes du Patrimoine, avec des bulles parfumées surprenant petits et grands sur le quai.

Et pour les 30 ans du Canal du Midi classé UNESCO, une balade sensorielle inédite : "Le nez en l'air autour du Canal du Midi", un parcours entre bassin des Filtres, Amidonniers et Bazacle où chaque odeur réveille un souvenir. Une dernière session est prévue début octobre !

« Ici, marcher, c'est sentir le canal autant que le voir. »

[POISON OF GOD]

"Venom and perfume always come in small vials."

This halo belongs to Lilith's lover: SAMAËL.

To release his spirit, break the ampoule containing the divine poison.

Share this infernal dose on your lover's skin; it is single-use.

Upon opening, the perfume dazzles you like an angel, only to plunge you deeper into the abyss.

The ampoule contains a steel bead to trace an indelible olfactory imprint on your skin —

Like a black, transparent ink sketching an ephemeral tattoo.

The only antidote is Lilith's perfume.

Their fluids intertwine like two entwined serpents.

Cedar and juniper, the classics of the aromatic woody world.

Agarwood takes centuries to form. Vetiver asks to be pulled from the earth, root by root.

Sandalwood has been carved into temples, traded across empires, and nearly lost to time.

These are not simple materials, they are histories you can smell.

On July 12th, I will be hosting three online Nosedive workshops with @fragrancealliancenetwork, each dedicated to one of perfumery's most complex and storied base materials. Guided smelling, material exploration, accord construction — from the ground up.

Lilac cannot be extracted.

Linden blossom barely yields to the alchemist's hand.

Lily of the valley exists only as a perfumer's dream.

And yet — we reconstruct them.

On June 21st, I will host three online Nosedive workshops with @fragrancealliancenetwork, each dedicated to one of perfumery's most elusive white florals.

Guided smelling, material exploration, accord construction — from the inside out.

* Lilac — powdery, rosy, green, impossible to extract

* Linden Blossom — honeyed, waxy, tender and fleeting

* Lily of the Valley — the phantom flower, pure fantasy on paper
