💐 Students of the Master in Art Direction & New Narratives (@comelisava) took part in an experimental assignment titled ‘Flowers & Concepts’.

The assignment was designed to introduce students to the creative tools and methodologies in art direction, creating six different conceptual flower arrangements. Each team chose a visual line and translated it into the floral language.

Digital Archaeology is a project dedicated to unearthing long-forgotten images entombed in ancient hard drives, on the brink of fading into oblivion. By meticulously retrieving these digital relics, it seeks to breathe new life into them before they are lost forever, preserving fragments of our personal heritage. by @osomaple

Jet lag mornings when you can’t sleep. “Almost a year since this one — a place I’ve returned to countless times, yet each visit fills and surprises me. Chill but warm, high yet tender, with clouds drifting softly into sunlight. That morning, unsettled from the journey, I stood in the stillness, breathing in air so pure it felt timeless, with a quiet promise of change waiting just beyond.” taken in San Juan De Chicuá, Cartago, Costa Rica by @osomaple

In the heart of Russia’s Urals, beside the murmuring Kamenka River, “Ophelia Can´t Sleep” crafts a tale soaked in Pre-Raphaelite allure. As sunset meets the river’s edge, Ophelia is caught in a perpetual dance between sleep’s embrace and the river’s pull. The familiar tragedy is subverted: every time slumber nearly claims her, the resolute spirit of the land stirs her awake, preventing her fateful descent into the water’s depths. Evoking the rich visuals of Von Trier and Millais’ masterpieces, the film portrays a persistent Ophelia, surrounded by blossoms and waters, endlessly defying her tragic destiny. Amidst nature’s whispers, the narrative celebrates the power of resistance and the undying hope that love imprints on the soul. by @osomaple
