My favourite park in London; a lesser-known gem tucked behind the world famous Hampstead Heath, and a constant source of solace, inspiration, and joy for me especially since I have lived relatively close by. A pleasure to introduce my place of peace to my brother @izak.harnden, and as always, appreciative of his willingness to model/pose for impromptu shoots at an instance. The light was incredible as the day drew to a close, and I caught these beautiful beams casting shadows behind the trees, illuminating his face and creating an atmospheric mood of serenity. Often, London can be stifling, a bustling metropolis of noise, action, and people, however, take the opportunity to discover a new place and you will find some tranquillity to create an equilibrium against the madness. Shot on Sony A7 III, Golders Hill Park, The Hill and Pergola Garden, London, 25th August, 2025 To accompany these thoughts, a poem about the shift in emotions I experience, a changing of the tides, revealing more about myself and finding a greater balance. At least, I hope! ~ I feel a shift A weight moving from my chest A heaviness It's freeing It's new It's as if it was never there Yet It always was It's a uncertainty that becomes trivial Becomes but a distant thought A distraction What a beautiful feeling What a confusing life I just appreciate some stability of the mind A moment to rectify To repent I want so much Yet i also appreciate what i have I don't want to be glutinous I don't want to be ungrateful There is more for me Time will tell ~ taken in Golders Hill Park by @ossiestockman

~Appearing out the tunnel Light dapples my eyes My brain wonders again I think over the overthinking I do Wondering again It's a habit which I perpetuate For my own sake I will try to stop No promises~ A poem about summer to accompany photos from the same time. I haven't posted my medium format work before, however, I've been shooting 120mm film for approximately two years now and it begs the question as to why I've delayed showing some of most accomplished photos in a format which I have the strongest attachment to. Nevertheless, as if to make up for lost time, here are thirteen all at once. Hervin, thank you for your time and energy. A utopian feeling of serenity overcame me in this park. So vast and wild, yet in the beating heart of a metropolitan city. How I met Hervin! He refused to left a broken leg stop him from enjoying the wild path. He had broken it the previous December, in the same park, when treading on black ice hidden underneath snow. He told me "The Tiergarten is my slice of paradise. While I am here, I forget about the city". taken in Großer Tiergarten by @ossiestockman
