Another season in the books. Stat sheet 0.5 tackles, 2 downed punts, 1 broken fibula and lots of self reflection.

Working through this injury I learned alot about myself. My identity has changed whether I like it or not. Im not just Onni the football player anymore, I am now a lot more roles before football player. And thats ok.

Im not compleatly stepping away from the game, but It’s time to hang up the cleats as a ”pro” and embrace the new responibilities and roles I’ve taken on.

I want to thank the Spider family for sticking with me! On top of personal growth I made more life long friends that I am forever greatful.

Thank you football. Till the next whistle! taken in Baindlkirch, Bayern, Germany by @ossiosmander

Today I begin a new chapter in my life. Im excited for the opportunity and will spend the day moving to my new home in Straubing where i’ll be playing football for the season.

Also happy to announce i’ll be starting soon a new job as an area manager at Amazon. So alot to jump into but we’ll push through!

Im extremely greatful for my time in Potsdam and to all of the people who made me feel like Im at home. Especially my girlfriend and her family who has supported me through thick and thin. And ofc my own family and the man above!

Champion 2.0

But its not even really about the championship itself. It was about the journey and growth that was made. So many learning opportunities, so many incredible people, so many emotions. Thank you God for this opportunity and keep the blessings coming. by @ossiosmander
