I’ve been walking around “bald” for the last 3-4 days and I don’t feel any type of way about it. While most of you can’t imagine cutting it all off and starting over, there are folks I have come to appreciate and understand why we get to this point. I’ve learned to ACCEPT and appreciate what my body does for me, how it has reacted under extreme duress such as bearing children. Hormones are powerful, at any stage in life. Women are strong as fuck and mentally we should accept that! What I did is a conscious…SECOND defining moment for me, and I love that for me…and women should love whatever the reason it is for them to start over from the root! I had to let it all go after “seeing how long it could grow” since 2018. I knew I’d have to cut it again..maybe even trim but those sneaky hormones did what they needed to do to push me to now. I’ve received shock, love, support and grace and I’m so appreciative of it all! While most can’t understand, just think of a time you thought you wouldn’t get any support in any endeavors(or so you thought) and you had the most unexpected supporters. Life is about GROWTH…I’m excited of my overall growth. by @osteynalityrose
