Behind the scenes of the first week! We had a blast with front half the first official day back, and we even had our little mascot visitor, Honey (Slide 8)! Thank you to our club officers who have been working the last two weeks to make everything line up just right while maintaining classes!

As we start closing in on the fall semester, I want to give an official Fair-Well to our Seniors of this previous May:

Maverick McCollough
Jake Spokely
All of these boys have worked super hard last few years, both within the club and within their majors. The club became what it is because of their dedication and hard work. This goes especially to our Jason Todhunter and Hannah Marie Akoury. Jason was our Club president last year, and Hannah Marie is our current president, and because of them we get to keep competing and volunteering as an official sponsored team.
Each one of you will be missed a great deal, and we know you’re going to do great things! I hope you all are enjoying your summer.

What’s that? We have two new division two members?
Tyler Sorens and Niko Douvalakis had some good runs at FDIC, and completed the course in under two minutes and thirty seconds!

When members of the OKState FCT get their division two time, they receive a helmet plague to wear, and it’s looking like we’re going to have to update our helmets! We’ve got quite the team out here!

Thank you to all who donated to our club, your contributions mean a bunch to us! They’ve allowed us to travel and do so much together, and we are all grateful!

What a great week! As a whole, FDIC was a total blast. From volunteering, to running, to the awesome convention, our team experienced it all. We worked really hard before, training and getting all of our times in order, and absolutely crushed it! Super proud of every body who went out with us!

And a final shoutout to our Co-Ed relay team, @barrett_howard62 , @hannahmarie.13 , @niko_douvalakis_ @emiwashere22 , and Jordan Ohare for this first place win in the under 40 Fire department Co-ed division!

Congratulations to the Oklahoma State Co-Ed Relay! Our team included Niko Douvalakis, Hannah Marie Akoury, Emily Yost, Barrett Howard, and Jordan Ohare, won first place in the co-ed section of the relays! They had a combined time of 5:12.93 across 3 different runs

Our very own Hannah Marie Akoury got second place in the female individual category last week! She broke the national record time during her first run of the week. She won with a 4:12.48!
