March is when dreams come true! I recently had the honor of being chosen as an @ohiostatewbb Superfan as part of @nike’s Superfan Nike By You Design Initiative. I got to design my own custom Air Force Ones for the team to wear during March!

I am so grateful for this opportunity, and am most excited about getting to share it with you, the fans! You can get these exact shoes from Nike.com at the link in my bio! Go Bucks - and let the Madness begin!

Welcome to @osuwbbfans! For followers old and new, I wanted to introduce you to the story about how this all started and what this space is all about!

In 2022, I created a Facebook group so I could connect with other Ohio State Women’s Basketball Fans online! In just a few years the group rapidly grew to over 5k members. Since then, I have created this Instagram account along with a Threads account both called @osuwbbfans.

My love of Ohio State Women’s Basketball started at a youth basketball camp at Ohio State back in 2016. I had the best coach at that camp, a player named Kelsey Mitchell. Not only was/is she a generational basketball player, but she is an extraordinary person. She treated me with such care and respect, and encouraged me to keep going after my dreams in basketball. Without her, this page might not exist.

Ran into my idol @kelz_hoop at a Roosters post game! It was my first time seeing her face to face since I was in middle school!

Through the years, I have been lucky enough to work alongside many passionate fans, such as my Facebook group moderator and friend @rachelmans_ . The Rebounders, who are the official booster club for OSUwbb and full of amazing longtime fans of this program. I have made connections with some incredible athletes that have come through our program over the years, and my goal is always to promote them and give them the recognition they deserve. Women’s basketball has come a long way and is finally starting to get the attention it has deserved for decades now.

The Rebounders table at every home game! Go say hi to them by the Northwest Entrance and apply to be a member. They are the official booster club of OSUwbb and are full of long time fans. They go on bus trips, have monthly meetings with special guest speakers, and more. You can find them on Facebook - just search “The OSU Rebounders Club”

A great way to get ready for my favorite time of the year!

@ohiostatewbb put on an amazing event for their season ticket holders this past week! An open practice, free dinner, meet and greet and autograph signing on the court with the players, and finished with a behind the scenes tour of facilities at the Schott!

@osuwbbfans are truly the best damn fans in the land, and this event was the perfect way for the team to show their biggest supporters some love!

Was so great to see so many familiar faces and chat about our favorite team as we get ready for another season! Stay tuned by following me on here and Facebook for fan engagement opportunities throughout the season!
