2024 has truly been a rollercoaster 🎢 — chaotic, unpredictable, and at times, overwhelming.
But as I reflect on the year, I can’t help but see how all the twists and turns have been a blessing in disguise.
Each challenge, each unexpected moment, has shaped me, taught me, and opened doors I didn’t even know existed. 🥳

Slide 1: Class of 2025, we’re almost there—so close to the finish line! I want to thank each and every one of you having an immeasurable impact in my life and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better group to grow and experience these years with. 🥹🫶

Slide 2: CURELITZIA-A-A 🥳🥳 2 wins in one year, how amazing?! 😱 you girls have such a special place in my heart. @curelitzia you really are a home away from home 🥹

Slide 3, 4, 5: Hands, hands, hands! ✋ although this block was an absolute nightmare to learn and study, I must admit, I loved every moment of it. It’s crazy to think how much work goes into hand functioning and how such a small injury of the hand can have an immense impact on daily functioning. I thoroughly enjoyed making splints and pressure garments; I actually think I have found a new passion in OT. 🤭

Slide 6: My research group 🥹🥹 aghhh you girls are so amazing and special. You truly made research incredibly fun and worth it. ❤️🫶

Slide 7: Oh paeds, I don’t think I can express enough how much I love working with children 🥰🙈 my heart explodes with excitement when I work with them and I love seeing the impact of OT on their lives.
If you take a look at the top left photo with the sandpit; I took part in a play therapy assessment and essentially it reflects on one’s inner/subconscious thoughts (I hope I’m on the right track with it) 🙈

Slide 8: Resus Wrinklies for the win 🥳🥳 taking part and winning SimUPWars this year was an incredible achievement. @uphealthsciences

Slide 9, 10: The people in these two slides make life and OT worth it! 🥹❤️ thank you for being my supports and inspiration.

Here’s to finding the hidden gifts in the madness! I’m ready for you 2025! 🫵🥳 @upoccupationaltherapy by @ot_with_me_

Hi everyone! 💚🩷
I’m Irene Chen, an aspiring Occupational Therapist, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. 🥳

I chose OT because I am passionate about helping others discover/rediscover their purpose and meaning in life, and empower them to reach their fullest potential. I believe that we all have a purpose in this world and that purpose needs to be carried out regardless of our limitations.
Occupational therapy is such a hidden gem of a profession that I wish everyone would know about and understand what we do. 🙌
Through this page, I want to shine a spotlight light on OT and show the world just how essential and impactful it is.🫶👩🏻‍⚕️
