Our last day in London was spent touring the Tower of London and then taking the company bus to the London Eye and OXO Tower for dinner. We had the best time - it was a night full of laughs, new friends, and lots of champagne 🍾 Following the company events, I really wanted to go to Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, a bar recommended by our friends that's been around since 1667. Unfortunately, it was closed by the time I got there, so I ended up at regular Cheshire Cheese instead, which was such a funny way to end my time in London. We had an amazing trip and while there are a million places I'd like to visit, I wouldn't mind a London Version 2.0 trip one day🍻🍾🥂 by @ota.anna

The second day's event put on by the company was a tour to Windsor Castle (no photos allowed inside) and a lunch cruise down the River Thames, followed by some shopping in the adorable town of Windsor. It was such an interesting experience - super cool to see that part of England as well. by @ota.anna

We ended up going to London because @usecase0401 won an award at work, and a trip was the prize🎉

The company set up unreal events for us for each day. On our first full day, we were treated to a welcome reception followed by afternoon tea on a double-decker sightseeing bus🚌 It was so much fun to see the city from above and enjoy some delicious food and drinks at the same time🍾🥂🫖 by @ota.anna

Our last morning in London was spent walking around, doing some shopping for the boys, and then going to the Tower of London. It was so cool - lots of creepy buildings, tons of bloody history, and the crown jewels, which were insane! by @ota.anna

Yusuke and I had unreal weather the whole time we were in London. We spent our first full morning walking from our hotel to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and then back to the hotel. We saw so many cool things along the way, including a BANKSY!!!! by @ota.anna

We had a brilliant night in London✨️ We walked from our hotel near Covent Garden to Kings Cross to meet up with friends we knew in Japan. So many wishes came true - we saw old friends, Yusuke watched a soccer game in a pub, all of the friends humored Touji with videos of them saying "bottle of water," and we rode home in a black cab. It was a perfect evening❤️ by @ota.anna

We spent about 48 hours of our trip in Osaka🐙 Osaka is a super special city for me - I lived there for nearly 10 years, met Yusuke there, the boys were born there, and we have so many great friends there. We ate so much delicious food - wagyu skewers, steamed crab buns, galaxy sodas, yakitori, yakiniku, and pancakes, saw our old stomping grounds, and even got interviewed for and used on the news🤣 We had the best time catching up with so many of our old friends. It was so bittersweet❤️ by @ota.anna

Japan was HOT! But we spent one day cooling off in the mountains of Arashiyama, a quaint area of Kyoto. We spent the day with an old friend, Daisy, who was basically my Japanese mom when I moved to Osaka. She became a tour guide a few years back and is amazing at it. She knows everything, which added so much to our day. by @ota.anna

We spent most of our time while in Japan at Yusuke's parents' house in Yokohama. We ate a lot, spent time with family, did a lot of shopping, and just hung out. The photos aren't super exciting, but they are filled with love. It was nice to relax (and celebrate my 44th birthday) in a place that always feels like home. by @ota.anna
