EDINBURGH EXTRAVAGANZA It’s now been over two weeks since @edfringe , and having had time to process the experience, and learning a few lessons. Happy to say it was made up of some incredible moments that were also stressful, manic, crazy but ultimately great fun. Having Ophelia there too added a further level of organisation but resulted in some wonderful memories. Thanks to @thespaceuk and @surgeonshall for having us, to all the shows that had me as a guest act, to all the people that bought tickets to my show. And a big thanks to my technician Jack Harris for pressing all the important buttons and for keeping everything on track. On 31st October 1926, it was announced that the great Harry Houdini died ⛓️‍💥 It was a privilege to be part of a week of celebrations to honour his life with shows @madamlolas in Brighton and @hippodromecasino in Leicester Square where he escaped from a pair of handcuffs specially made for him by the London Daily Mirror newspaper as a challenge in 1904. The shows celebrated his life, with a varied cast playing various points of his life, I performed a tribute act to the King of Cards stage of his career plus a more Halloween themed piece, as a link to the latter part of his career exposing fake mediums and spiritualism. 👻 Huge thanks to @paul.zenon for having me involved and was an honour to be part of such a varied and talented cast of performers, and kindly supported by @magiccirclehq Read a blog about Houdini and his death in a website blog via my profile Photos 📸 @brendan.pics #harryhoudini #goodnightharry #kingofcards by @otabormagic
