This post is just to let folks know that I’m not going to be (or ever really have been) doing hard posts all that often. In our realm of otakudom we spend a lot of time on phones or looking at screens. This is a reminder to use all we’ve learned from these amazing stories and to apply it to living our lives to the best of our abilities.
.
.
I’ll still be active in stories a bit and will occasionally do hard posts, but mostly to announce events I’m vending or letting y’all know ways to get in touch!

all the love I can give

**THE MARKET OF DOOM, Thursday January 22nd 5:30-7pm**

On Thursday, January 22nd from 5:30 - 7pm we welcome you to THE MARKET OF DOOM, a Japanese-themed market in support of our International Series' pick of the month - THE SWORD OF DOOM - an incredible 1966 samurai flick starring the late Tatsuya Nakadai in one of his most intense, vicious performances of all time.

We will have a plethora of (mostly) Japanese centric wares, including video games, board games, manga, VHS, vinyl, Blu-ray, and more from:

@floatingworldcomics
@otakubell
@hawthornegameexchange
@nervousdesigns
@boardbardgamestore

IN ADDITION: Nervous Designs has created an amazing custom SWORD OF DOOM t-shirt specifically as a limited-time release for the event! You can come and snag one any time at concessions during the entire week of 1/16 - 1/22 (with some stock set aside specifically for the event itself). Don't miss your chance to grab one of these awesome shirts while you can! (slide right to see the design!)

Tickets are not required to attend the event itself, but we hope you stick around and experience what is perhaps one of the most exceptional Chanbara films in Japan's history to honor the legacy of the great Tatsuya Nakadai! taken in The Academy Theater by @otakubell
