POSTS STORIES REELS

Still a work in progress but this is an example of the difference the details make.
- Initiating contact often causes defense to foul.
- More space to operate and make decisions.
- pace and control instead of rushing into a turnover.
- More time and space leads to the momentum needed for the elevation to complete the play.

This was just 2 separate reps. More things can be tweaked to make this move even more effective but nothing as quick as lots of reps and detailed adjustments. #otb2skills #basketball #labwork # by @otb2skills

Ingredients of a champion:
As coaches we disagreed, we were annoyed with each other, we had bad days, we missed days, we made mistakes and a lot more.
As players at times they were confused, overwhelmed and didn't see the point of doing some things, they bickered with each other, they had lazy days, days where they felt like what they were doing wasn't good enough.

Although all of those things are true, that WAS NOT our norm. As coaches and even amongst teammates, the norm was to speak life into each other. Our norm was to encourage and not dwell, NEXT PLAY! There is literal blood, sweat, and tears that mark the floors of Blanchard gym because we refused to settle for mediocre results. We demanded more from one another, but first we demanded more from ourselves.

Reset, Refocus! That was one of our mottos. We preached not to linger in the failure but to learn from it and move TF on. Everyday COMPETITION amongst players and even amongst coaches was important. Whether that was a physical act or a battle of wit. Iron sharpens iron ⚔️ and nothing about this journey was easy, but it wasn't supposed to be. The most beautiful things in life are earned, and each day that Delta Mustangs showed up, there was a challenge to go higher. Our girls had targets on their backs, social media hate, doubt from other teams, family losses, tough schedules, and as coaches, we still demanded they be present and productive, and they met those demands. That's how you cook up a 2025-2026 California State Championship.
The most beautiful team in the state!!! 😍🥰 I love yall!

Just in case yall were wondering. We dont relate to haters in the Bay. Keep it about basketball and keep it respectful. The Bay Bridge doesnt have a lane on it for bandwagons. Congratulations to the Dream for contributing to a great series and historical game 7 match up. To the 2026 @wnba champs the Golden State Valkyries...job well done! 💍🏆🏀🌉⚔️🛡 by @otb2skills

3•15•2026 Our team made h"1st"ory by becoming the first women's team in 50 years of having women's basketball to win a state championship. There are roughly 80 to 90 women's teams in California and this year according to the Chinese calendar is... "The Year Of The Horse" and we, "The Mustangs" were the last ones standing. Its a surreal feeling knowing that I was able to contribute in helping this program achieve something they never have in a half a century of attempts. Thats that Richmond, California effect 🤞🏽🐻
That gold banner will be hanging in those rafters with our names gracing it 100 years from now for future loved ones to see. I lost so much in the last 2 years it drove me crazy, had me acting out of character. Moments like these reminds me that no matter what you are going through, purpose will remain demanding, purpose doesn't even care about grief, purpose is consistently moving along and its up to you to keep up with it. Im thankful for Delta College, Im thankful for the young ladies that entrusted me to help guide them, im thankful for my family and friends for giving me grace through my tough times and support when I needed it. Oso out 👋🏽🎤 #DeltaMustangs #YearOfTheHorse #2026JUCOwbbChamps

These two men, Calvin Andrews on the left and Hashim Aluaddeen on the right are the founders of one of the most impactful grass roots programs the entire country has ever seen. 35 years ago, 2 men from my city, RICHMOND, CA teamed up to form Slam-n-Jam (which I played for) which you now know to be the legendary OAKLAND SOLDIERS.
Calvin went on to become one of the most successful NBA agents and has represented some of your favorite players like Carmelo Anthony, Dru Gooden, Aaron Gordon, O.J. Mayo, Josh Okogie, Chuck Hayes and many more. Hashim an educator who has taught at Contra Costa College and U.C. Berkeley as well so many other accomplishments believed in me enough to connect me with my first overseas opportunity to play professional basketball. That led to a 10½ year career that allowed me to travel to over 25 countries and live in about 10 of them. The current number one draft pick AJ Dybantsa, LeBron James, Kendrick Perkins, Brandon Jennings, Chauncey Billups, and so many more have suited up with that Oakland Soldier uniform on. It was a beautiful blessing to be in a room celebrating so many former and current players from this Soldier family tree. So many other men which I haven't named that coached, drove, trained, housed, fed, taught, supported and loved the kids that came up in this program is why 35 years later its still standing strong. Im thankful for these two men for having a vision and im even more thankful for them allowing me to be a very small part of that vision. I know its currently called Oakland....but it definitely started in Richmond and I will forever be a Richmond Soldier 🫡 by @otb2skills

🚨Happy 2k drop day🚨
This post is a collage of "appropriated" pics from various members of my 2k family. Sharing is caring lol
This concludes my 11th season....sheesh, yes 11th time having the privilege to be a part of something thats so monumental and a staple in the gaming and hoop culture. I think this was by far the best crew and this year's My Player @richmorrowofficial was definitely the catalyst in making that happen, you did your big one. Also @barihawk you kept the energy on blast for months...thats truly a gift. It was honor to work with you both. Thanks again to all the 2k fam and a special shout out to the background crew....we knocked it out the park again. #2k27 #NBA2k #MoCap #season11 by @otb2skills

Got a chance to collaborate with a couple of the @deltacollegemensbb coaches this week for a 5-day clinic. We covered so much more than drills and skills. We covered veing coachable, being vocal, nutrition, attention to detail, accountability, did I say attention to detail...mixed in with a lot college level drills I could only wish I was exposed to as a freshmen in high school like the guys in this group were. Their effort was great....energy was high and we covered a lot. These kids definitely got a few jewels to take back to their respective teams to share. #GoMustangs by @otb2skills

In My City is one of my poems that im most proud of!
Art and reality intertwined while also being a voice of pride.....and purpose, which is Richmond city motto. My city is like so many others across the nation, so many ebbs and flows in life, so many stories...failures and triumphs. I just hope you enjoy this little glimpse into a small piece of Richmond California. by @otb2skills

Summer for a basketball player is a season for growth 🌱 physically and mentally. Sometimes we are so focused on "adding" to our games that we dont realize growth can also come in the form of "letting go" of bad habits.
Wasted movement, one fast pace, high emotions and several other things can possibly be whats anchoring your progression in place.
Thats why I love when I get a group that is willing to have faith in the process. It takes a lot of patience and persistence because it is sometimes difficult to see the results in the moment. Remain willing to expose yourself to being uncomfortable and progress is inevitable! #OTB2SKILLS by @otb2skills
