Back in 2024, we got a call from the OGs at @otbroadshow

With Worlds coming to 'Lynchburg' they were looking for a place where the hustlers could set up shop. By hustlers, we mean the people who truly live and breathe this sport. The players, creators, vendors, and small businesses who have made chasing this passion part of their life’s work.

We wanted to create a space that celebrated those people without putting up a cost barrier. A place where professionals could connect directly with fans, vendors could showcase what they’ve built, and everyone involved had an opportunity to make a little money to fund their dreams along the way.

That’s how our 'Alt Mart' was born.

Since then, the event has evolved, but the mission has stayed the same. Every time a PDGA major event has come through, we’ve worked to create a player- and vendor-focused space around it, and we plan to keep doing exactly that.

Fast forward to this year, when another OG, @bigjermdg , sparked a little conversation by asking the DGPT why more player-focused events like these weren’t a bigger priority.

The DGPT heard it.

This year, they want to be part of what we’ve built. Not to take it over or change the spirit of the event, but to help us market it, amplify it, and make it even bigger and better for the players, vendors, and fans.

So, we’re excited to officially introduce the DGPT Players Mart.

The same player-first concept. The same focus on connecting pros, vendors, and fans. The same commitment to keeping the barrier to entry nonexistent.

And most importantly, there is still no paywall.

We can’t say whether this changes things forever. What we can say is that we believe in building bridges, not burning them.

We’re proud to support the DGPT, the pros, the vendors, and the fans, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together in just over a week.

Same mission. Bigger platform. Welcome to the DGPT Players Mart.
