⭐️WMA World Silver Medalist 400m⭐️⁣

⁣
Just want to thank everyone that’s been on this journey with me. From my training partners, to the athletes I coach, and the many people that have encouraged, supported, and inspired me to train and compete (FADE). This was not the plan this year! ⁣
⁣
Over the past months I really committed myself to training. I made sacrifices, challenged myself mentally, fine tuned my diet, and prioritized the things that would help me be at my highest level. ⁣
⁣
My goal going in was to get a gold medal, but I tip my hat to my competitors for challenging me to be my best and not making it easy! 49.29 in the open 400 and 48.4 split on the anchor leg of the relay to help the team to bronze 🙏🏽 ⁣
⁣
And the most important thing I am walking away with is experience and perspective. I have learned so much on this journey and can’t wait to apply these things towards my coaching journey to continue to build and develop the athletes that I serve. Thankful for this experience and the opportunity to represent my country 🇺🇸.⁣

At our last pre-meet, I let the crew throw a challenge at me. We were working on controlled rhythm, and after @alexlomelii crushed her goal of running 28 flat, I was challenged to hit exactly 29 for a 200—no faster, no slower. Ran it with @juan.hdz_10 Think I nailed it?
