What happens when we give young athletes the tools to navigate the spotlight before it finds them?

That was at the heart of my latest Big Table conversation on the importance of media training in youth sports.

🎥 This clip is only one piece of a much bigger conversation. Watch the full discussion on YouTube tomorrow, Monday at 6:30pm est. to hear what came up when we really got into it.

I’m grateful to Doug Worthington @coach_freshington , former Ohio State Buckeye and NFL player, and Coach Dayatra Hales @coach_dayatra_ , longtime educator, coach and community leader, for joining me and sharing their perspectives and experiences.

And thank you to The Columbus Foundation @colsfoundation for creating the space for these important community conversations through The Big Table.

The 26’ Orange Blossom Classic brought the heat to Miami. 🍊🔥

@themasonhicks broke off an electric 58-yard house call to set the tone early, finishing with 210 yards and 2 TDs as the Bulldogs cruised to a 31–13 win and moved to 2-0. 🐾🏆
