The last 5 years have been the hardest of my life. They’ve also provided me more inner work and growth than I’ve even known or thought possible. I ended a marriage, became a single dad, lost my job, lost friends, set hard boundaries with family, lost relationships with in laws, and struggled understanding my best friend and partners relationship. Nobody owes you anything. Seeing how conditional love can be is still painfulI. I am not perfect. I am not a victim. Truth and accountability are something I’ll forever be working on and seeking improvement. It’s felt lonely a lot of the time, but there is always a light to shine a path. Find the good. Find magic in the mundane. Love people. Have empathy. Stop to smell the flowers. Be the change you want to see in the world. I wasn’t my best self over the past years but I’m a better version of me today than I was at the beginning of this journey. Progress is in action. I’ll always be imperfect with room to grow. Be vulnerable and lead with love 💗 E&O you’re my 🌎 💜 To a better future by @otherpetebrown
