Overdue post about my lovely new stickers I will give one to you if you ask nicely or you can buy a print in support of @gazasroots and get one with that (link in bio). Also if you want my email irl I will just give you one of these.

I’ve found freelancing really hard this year and have been struggling to get work in that pays properly. I did these stickers for myself to make me feel like everything isn’t in the toilet and to remind myself that I like drawing because that is supposed to be my job, I also have another job and it is hard to do both of them and not work onemillion hours.

All that is to say if you have the power and money to hire freelance designers, folks who draw by hand, who can design something curious, interesting and personal with their brain and a piece of paper then please do that.

Shoutout to Jay @tackyandupsetting who printed these at top quality and also sorted me out when I got my own address wrong 👍🏻

Books are open, send me an email, ask me to design you some print work or draw you something. Happy caterpillar guaranteed🐛

Last year’s LONG @_counterpoint cover has been LONG-listed in the @worldillustrationawards editorial category. Just got announced today. Obviously printed with @ootblueprint really just a huge shoutout to you tbh Magazine face up with multicoloured illustration of a person with a stack of hats on his head, holding a long paintbrush and a rubbish picker in front of stripes wallpaper. Suddenly plunged into Autumn having filled my ears and eyes right up to the brim and my little beak with porridge on my little break from mornings.

Went to the @goldenspurtle in advance of screening the doc in January. Was absolutely blown away by the event and also great porridge. In September we celebrated the creativity of our communities here in Edinburgh at the opening of the Creative Community Hub Network’s ‘Gather’ exhibition (and supporting our craft group to show all their incredible work! + shoutout to @morvyc & @evamckenzie on all their hard work getting the innovate fund pushed through!) followed by going to the reading of the names ceremony at the exhibition of the @aidsquiltuk at @glasgowtramway .

Break is over now, back on @ehfm_live tomorrow morning 10-12 with loads of new music. Thanks to @4thegaff @bog_factor & @lietzsche for covering, out to @maidengarbband for being excellent live. See you the morn! by @otisworming

Have had a super busy May and now it’s June and I’m back on the morning show tomorrow after 2 weeks off. Thanks to @bog_factor for covering the show!

A joyful month visiting @noodsradio @neoancients & Bristol’s Jack in the Green as part of research for new work funded by VACMA, went and got my hands in the soil in Leeds with @r.o.bynb.o.yle , and finished the month with an @ehfm_live Mornings trip to @watchingtreesfestival which was brilliant and just for fun.

One whole year of @ehfm_live mornings! Bringing you two hours of live radio every Thursday is an absolute joy (for me), here are some pictures of me having a really really nice time.

Out to everyone who’s listened in this year, got in the chatroom, subscribed, or come down to dance with us. Special shout-out to all the fabulous guests who have come and had a chat with me this year! EXTRA SPECIAL shout-out to the whole mornings crew and my long suffering producer @wilson_imsorry

Now onwards, I’ll be doing special shout-outs all morning on Thursday usual time 10-12. Lonely hearts, notes to your crush, missed connections, pep talks for lovesick friends or just a shoutout for your loved one. Extra bonus points if you want to shout about a stranger’s outfit that’s always nice. Let me know by filling out the thingy in my stories I will shout them ALL (anonymously).

See you tomorrow! taken in Ground Floor by @otisworming
