THE CFL PLAYOFFS HAVE ARRIVED 🏈🔥🏆

With the Divisional Semifinals taking place today, here’s a preview of who the true contenders might be to take the Grey Cup home!

Who do you think takes it all? Let me know in the comments 👇⬇️

Was 2026 one of the greatest offensive seasons the CFL has ever seen? 🤯

Three quarterbacks eclipsed 5,000 passing yards. Tyson Philpot rewrote the Canadian receiving record book. Nathan Rourke came close to joining the 5,000-yard club, while receivers across the league piled up huge numbers.

Records fell. Offences exploded. And we might not see another season quite like this one for a while.

What was your favourite performance from the 2026 regular season? 👀

Chad Kelly’s contract extension is good for the CFL as a whole. It’s good for fans, good for other players and good for business.

Is Vladimir Guerrero Jr. actually too good at making contact?

The Toronto Blue Jays slugger struggled to hit home runs in 2026, but his underlying power hasn’t gone anywhere.

Montreal’s offence might be hitting another gear at exactly the right time. 👀🏈

Davis Alexander has put together a huge season, with Tyson Philpot and Tyler Snead helping give the Alouettes one of the CFL’s most dangerous attacks.

Now comes the real question: how far can this offence take Montreal in the playoffs?

How can the Toronto Raptors unlock Immanuel Quickley this season?

Getting him involved in actions with Scottie Barnes might be the answer and it might be the key to keeping the offence afloat when Kawhi doesn’t play.

Joe Wolfond of @raptorsrepublic highlighted these two plays from the first quarter of opening night as examples of how getting a third guy involved can improve the Barnes-Quickley connection.

The CEBL-to-NBA pipeline keeps moving. 👀🏀

Jarkel Joiner, Dain Dainja and Jon Elmore all made their mark in the CEBL and each has since earned an opportunity inside an NBA organization.

From Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary to the next level.

Who’s next? 👀

How much does Chad Kelly change Toronto’s playoff ceiling? 👀🏈

The Argos might not feel like the CFL’s most dominant team, but with Kelly under centre, they have a quarterback capable of completely changing a game.

Does that give Toronto enough of a shot to win it all?

Can Calgary actually finish the job and get into the playoffs? 👀🏈

With the West race coming down to the wire, the Stampeders could have a huge opportunity in front of them this weekend, but there’s almost no room left for error.

Can Calgary get the result it needs, or does the door stay open for Saskatchewan and Winnipeg?

AJ Lawson’s road through professional basketball has been anything but straightforward. 🇨🇦🏀

From representing Canada and playing at South Carolina, to going undrafted, grinding through the CEBL and G League, earning NBA opportunities with Minnesota and Dallas and eventually playing for his hometown Raptors.

Now, that journey has taken him overseas to Baskonia in Spain.

This is AJ Lawson’s basketball journey.

The BC Lions might be doing 2011 all over again. 👀🏈

The slow start. The midseason turnaround. The Canadian quarterback leading the charge. The weird stadium parallels.

And somehow, even Sarah McLachlan has found her way back into the story.

BC’s 2011 season ended with a Grey Cup.

Fifteen years later, the similarities are getting a little ridiculous.
