I’ve been wanting to make a post for this cake since I made it but it’s been a busy busy summer!

This beauty stands almost 8 foot high making it my highest cake so far. It took months to plan and design this cake. The setup was a TASK! Two people, a ladder and lots of prayers later, when I saw her in all her glory I definitely felt proud of myself.
3 years ago when I started this business I did not in my wildest dreams think I could make anything even close to this. So thankful for this journey, so thankful for all of your support that keeps me going and wanting to do better.
THANK YOU!!

A huge Congratulations to Sara & Ahmad. Your wedding was truly magical!! Thanks for trusting me with your wedding cake.

Still recovering from yesterday’s gorgeous setup which was this 7 tier cake standing tall at a height of 4 feet! The bottom tiers were also much wider than any cakes I’ve made so far.

It was a challenge to find the equipment I needed for a cake this size, like a turntable, pans, cake board (which was also custom made by yours truly) but the real challenge was the lifting and transporting, and for that I’m ever so thankful to my husband.

Of course, I transported it in two parts and stacked it at the venue but even in two parts this thing wasn’t easy to handle and there is no way I could have done it myself.
