This weekend I was back photographing @thesuperbowlshowdown, and I also got a few clips to mix in! A personal highlight was watching Olympic skater @fayskate rip the bowl (and win first place in both the Women’s and Open categories 🔥)

This contest was part of the @canleycup and the Ontario bowl @our_summit series where folks earned points with @canadaskateboard. $1,500 in prizes were distributed across all categories! Shoutout to the sponsors and supporters @birlingtheott @acetrucks @rxbearings @ottawaskate @girlsskate613. Also shoutout to @sum41 for this throwback banger I just had to use for a bowl comp 🤘🏻 taken in Ottawa, Ontario by @ottawaskate

Come along with me as I photographed the @girlsskate613 event at Charlie Bowins skatepark last week! 🛹✨ I strapped a GoPro to me this time to get some POV footage while I moved through the event while capturing photos of everyone having a blast in the summer heat ☀️

This event had it all! Skate demos, raffle prizes, new connections, and a generous surprise donation of pizza!! 🍕 I think this is the biggest event I’ve seen yet - thanks to everyone that came out, the community supporters (@birlingtheott @rideau_rollers @whitetail.skateboards @ottawaskate @impactskateclub @trappedottawa) and of course all the volunteers that put this on! 🔥 taken in Charlie Bowins Skate Park by @ottawaskate

lots of prizes from @birlingtheott @whitetail.skateboards @rideau_rollers • come skate what people have called “the most intimidating park in the city” (its really not that scary) and learn the basics of street skating in a large, welcoming group. • @ottawaskate @ottfreefit @centretownottawa @ottawagirliedates
