When I started running again almost 3 years ago this was something I couldn’t imagine. My entire life never came close to running a 4 minute mile. At the age of 34 finally broke into the 4s with a 4:57!!! So crazy, never too old to try new things!!

Won my first overall race of the year!! Crushed a 5k in Baldwin and beat second place by almost a minute. Really trying to push myself this year to get even faster/stronger 🏃🏽‍♂️ 💪🏻 #sandcityathletics #longbeachrun #flashrunningcompany by @otterbarn

Ran the Memorial Day Freedom 5k in Malverne today. It was a great race, organized by the legendary patriot man Greg Waxman! Finished with my first official sub 20 minute 5k!!! Crushed it and gaining motivation to keep pushing the limit. Thankful for all who made the ultimate sacrifice 🇺🇸 #memorialday #memorialdayweekend #elitefeatsathleticclub #sandcitysouthrunclub #longbeachrunningclub #running by @otterbarn

Won the Monday and Tuesday night 4s leagues at Endless with some really good peeps!! This season was pretty good competition wise, felt like we had solid games almost every week. Nice start to the outdoor season! #volleyball #beachvolleyball #betteratbeach by @otterbarn

A couple of running pictures from the last month. The running community is so supportive, it doesn’t matter your level there’s a place for you. Going to try and crush some more PRs this summer!! #sandcitybrewingco #sandcitysouthrunclub #running #run #longbeachrunningclub by @otterbarn
