Four unreleased tracks, and the records that led him here. @ottomangruw joins us for STM 319 with GEOGRAPHY OF ASCENT / DISSENT: 39 selections across two hours, from Éliane Radigue and Jessica Moss to Orphx, Front 242 and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Listen out for Enochian, Hands Like Cages, Scar with @night_in_athens, and This Day Will Come from his @theatreof_light project. All four are unreleased. His collaboration with @_prophan_, Under My Skin, I Carry Your Bones, is in there too. Ivan also takes us through the years he spent in Montreal, the friendships behind the music and the Brussels label he co-founded, @mutant_modality. There’s drone, industrial, EBM and coldwave, alongside the quieter records he keeps coming back to. We’ve put his words, photographs and some of those records together in the feature.
