There are quite a few more of you here than there were when we first introduced ourselves… so hi 👋🏼🐾

This is Otto - professional side-eye giver, tiny dictator and the reason my camera roll is now completely unusable.

We started this account simply to document him growing up. The training, the firsts, the wins, the chaos and all those completely ordinary little moments that somehow end up being the ones you never want to forget. Somewhere along the way, quite a few of you decided to come along for it. 🥹

So if you’re new here: expect real puppy life, lots of training, an unreasonable amount of sass and plenty of things we genuinely love along the way.

We’re also slightly obsessed with discovering brilliant small businesses. If we recommend something here, it’s because we genuinely rate it - whether we bought it ourselves, it was gifted or it’s part of a collaboration. We’ll never recommend something we wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

And one little promise from us: the Otto you see here is the Otto we actually live with. No AI-generated photos or videos, no manufactured perfection - just our real little dog and his real life. 🤎

Thanks for being here and watching him grow up with us.
Welcome to Otto’s little corner of the internet. 🐾

Does anyone know if I can appeal my placement?

i don’t know what mum’s life was like before me.

but she sometimes says,
“what did i do without you?”

which is strange.
i mostly just follow her around
and sleep beside her.

i think she means something else, though.

because she usually says it
when i’m doing nothing at all.

just being here.
where i’m supposed to be. by @ottothecavalier_

Look at us, budgeting together 😏

Top tip: get yourself a harness set so gorgeous that nothing else ever tops it. Suddenly you’re saving a fortune by refusing to wear anything else. 🤎🐿️

Me and mum told dad that my Acorn Acres set from @wildpawsldn is an investment in our financial future. Who is he to argue? He’s got socks older than the kids!

Shop the range, look as cute as me and use OTTO for 15% off 🥰

Some dogs get pumpkin spice, I get pumpkin for my bum 🙄

For the first two months after coming home, I needed my anal glands expressed every month. My poor bumkin 🥲

Mum saw lots of fellow Cavalier owners recommending pumpkin powder to help support healthy poos and anal gland health, so she decided to introduce it into my routine.

Sourced from @tailandtropic , it’s made from 100% pumpkin, and a simple way to add fibre to my meals. Mum sprinkles it over dinner, and has promised to mix it with water to make a paste for my new lickimats. Looking after this booty has never tasted so good 🍑🤌🏼

My code: OTTO will get you 15% off so you can stock up on lickimats too for your pumpkin paste!

Imagine mum calling them “my issues” like she didn’t come with the same ones 🙃 What toxic trait do you share with your human? Expose them! 👇

My name is Otto, but they call me… literally anything except Otto 🙄

Back with part two because my family have apparently mistaken me for a guy with multiple identities 😏

At this point I’m responding to anything said in a high pitched voice, particularly if there’s food involved.

Please tell me your humans have equally ridiculous nicknames for you. I need to know I’m not alone in this. 🤎

Mum and I visited a record shop yesterday and it got her thinking about what my theme tune would be. 🤭

Personally, I think it’s “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred, but she reckons “Toxic” by Britney Spears is a more accurate representation of my personality.

Can’t imagine why.

Anyway, enough about me. If you had your very own theme tune, what would it be? 😏

13,000 of you?! 🥹

Not bad for a little boy who still eats socks, argues with his own reflection and can’t be trusted alone with a pebble.

Thank you for following my very important puppy business. I love you all (almost as much as my dad). 🤎

Love, Otto x

They think they’ll grind me down with persistence. Lol. Send help to my parents, the level of delusional is genuinely concerning 🤡
