Boomer!!! Major congrats to Ryan Estes for being named AAPL’s 2025-26 Outstanding Graduate! Ryan has represented AAPL incredibly well as a Student Member during his time in the Robert M. Zinke Energy Management Program at @oupricecollege in Norman, Oklahoma. Originally from Orange County, California, Ryan grew up going to the beach, playing lacrosse and staying involved in his community. During his time at the @uofoklahoma, Ryan served on several executive boards within his fraternity as well as the @ou_emsa. These experiences helped prepare Ryan for two summer land internships with Matador Resources Company in Dallas, where he will be returning full-time after graduation.We look forward to celebrating Ryan and all he accomplished during his time at OU at our 72nd Annual Meeting June 24-26 in Salt Lake City! AAPL provides curriculum guidance and program support for 15 undergraduate and graduate level energy management and petroleum land management programs at accredited schools in the United States, including OU. Each year the Landman Scholarship Trust awards over $250,000 in scholarships to students enrolled in these programs. The LST recognizes an Outstanding Graduate each year who is pursuing a career as a landman and has demonstrated great leadership in work, extracurricular activities and their student landmen’s association. The Outstanding Graduate Award is the most prestigious award among AAPL accredited students, and AAPL is thrilled to have Ryan as this year’s winner!#PoweringTheProfession #AmericasLandmen #Landman #OU #Boomer by @ou_emsa
