Details are important and as the Island of Ayïti Kiskeya Bohio is the Pearl of the Antilles, the concept of both “land and Sea” is depicted in this piece, with real shells retrieved from the ocean🌱🐚🌊🌺✨

The Goddess had a vision she wanted to bring to life & we did just that ✨👑

Haitian Independence Day Soup Joumou was that of Honor & Liberty. “Joumou” is “Squash”. This Soup was made for The colonizers by the People of Haiti dating back in the 1700’s- & when Haiti Gained it’s Independence in 1804, We took it as Our Own, symbolizing Liberty, Victory & Freedom🍲

A Haitian Gede inspired Crown was requested & was delivered✨💜

Haitian Gede season is similar to Dia de La muertè, yet lasts a season rather than a day, as the process of shedding the old and welcoming the new takes time. This crown was indeed special as each intricate detail was placed with attention to detail and of course 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦👑

This piece was Very special for me to make, as @nmrigaud Represented our Beautiful Country “Hayti/Ayiti” in the 2024 Miss Global Pageant. This specific work of Art to weeks (almost a month) to make, as it could not be rushed. It was an Honor, and will continue to be, to Adorn Queens’ Crowns with Headdresses✨👑⚜️
