So many of you have found Our Hamptons recently, and I’m so glad you’re here. If we’ve never met before, I’m Jonathan… a dad of two, a full-time New Yorker, and the creator of Our Hamptons.

I started this platform because I fell in love with a side of the Hamptons that doesn’t always make it onto social media.

Yes, there are beautiful beaches, incredible restaurants, and stunning homes. But what kept me coming back wasn’t any of that.

It was the people.

The small business owners who remember your name. The neighbors who become friends. The local events that bring everyone together. The traditions my kids are growing up with. The feeling that no matter where you came from, there’s a place for you here.

During the week, you’ll usually find me on the Upper East Side. On weekends… and every chance I get… I’m out east with Benji and Sophia, discovering everything from hidden beaches and family-owned restaurants to charity events, community gatherings, and the little moments that make this place so special.

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this page, it’s this:

The Hamptons isn’t just a destination.

It’s a community.

Whether you’ve lived here your whole life, just bought your first beach pass, or are planning your very first visit, I hope this page makes you feel like you’re already part of it.

Our Hamptons is about opening the Hamptons up to anyone who’s ever thought the Hamptons wasn’t “for them.”

I’m a dad raising two kids between the Upper East Side and the East End. I grew up in the New York suburbs, built my life in the city, and fell in love with the Hamptons not because it’s exclusive, but because it’s where we’re happiest. Beach walks, bike rides, long days and late nights, casual dinners with our best friends… the kind of memories that last.

For a long time, the Hamptons has been presented as a place you need permission to enjoy. Perfect houses, insider rules, quiet judgments. That’s not real life, and it’s not the Hamptons I know.

Our Hamptons is about real homes, real people, real weekends. It’s about knowing that you don’t need a perfect life to belong here. It’s a place where there’s room for everyone.

This is the Hamptons as we experience it, through the eyes of a dad and his kids, New Yorkers, and a family building something meaningful along the way.

This is Our Hamptons in action.

There’s something pretty incredible about meeting people in one part of your world and realizing they belong to another part of it, too.

@pattyjonyc and Lou own @heritagegrandbakery here in Manhattan, just steps from Bryant Park… but they also call Hampton Bays home. And somehow, sitting together tonight, those two worlds didn’t feel very far apart at all.

And trust me… you’ll definitely be hearing more from me about this place.

This is exactly what I hoped Our Hamptons could become. Not just a place to share where to go or what to do, but a way to find our people. To build friendships. To create community. To discover all the unexpected connections that make this big city and our little corner of the East End feel a whole lot smaller.

Tonight was one of those beautiful reminders that community isn’t really about where you are. It’s about the people sitting around the table.

From Manhattan to Hampton Bays… worlds collide, new friendships begin, and the table just keeps getting bigger.

Some invitations are about an event. Others are about the conversation waiting to happen.

I’m honored to join my friend @manishamundhraberiwala and an inspiring group of voices for The Corporate Diwali’s “Find Your Inner Light”, a special Diwali Wellness Social at @newyorkpalace, in partnership with @ilaonly_spa and @immunocologie.

For me, community has always been about showing up, creating belonging, and making space for people to share their light. That is at the heart of Our Hamptons, and it is a spirit I deeply admire in what Manisha has built through TCD… bringing culture, connection, wellness, and people together across communities.

Hampton Bays just got something it’s been missing…

Meet The Lofty Shed.

I stopped in and had the chance to meet Angelica, the woman behind this beautiful new vintage and home shop, and I immediately fell in love with both the space and the story behind it.

Angelica has been thinking about bringing this vision to life for years. And finally, she said yes.

Every corner feels thoughtful, collected and personal… the kind of place where you walk in just to look and somehow leave with six vintage brown cups. Guilty.

But this is about so much more than what I brought home.

I love seeing people take a chance on Hampton Bays. I love seeing new independent businesses become part of this community. And I especially love seeing someone finally turn a dream they’ve carried for years into something real.

Angelica, you created something really special.

There are some days that perfectly capture why I love Hampton Bays so much.

Today was one of them.

20 local vendors. Big Ed behind the bar. The @hamptiki rolling up to Whale’s Tale… followed by a completely unplanned ride that became one of the best parts of the day. And a community that showed up in a BIG way.

But underneath all the fun, this is what today was really about for me: community.

Local businesses supporting each other. Friends showing up for friends. People laughing, connecting and making memories together.

Sosh and Brian… I’m so proud to call you my friends. What you’ve built at @whalestale.li is special because it’s about so much more than food or drinks. You’ve created a place where people genuinely feel like they belong.

And that’s exactly what I love about Hampton Bays.

I’m incredibly grateful for the friendships I’ve made here, for the people who have welcomed me into this community, and for the chance to be part of something that feels more and more like home every single day.

This is why I love Hampton Bays.

This is what makes the Hamptons special.

Some of the best things in my life have started with a yes I almost didn’t say.

So when TS Fitness challenged me to commit to six weeks… I said yes.

Today was Day 1.

For the next six weeks, I’m showing up, putting in the work and seeing what happens when I push myself a little further than I normally would.

No shortcuts. No pretending I know what I’m doing. Just showing up.

And maybe what I love most is what TS actually stands for… Together Stronger.

Because whether it’s fitness or the community we’re building with Our Hamptons, I’ve learned that the best things happen when people show up for each other.

Seventeen shells. Seventeen unique works of art. 🐚

We grabbed our map from the Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce Office and set out to find them all. We made it to 10 of 17… so consider this Part One.

From Main Street to the waterfront, each shell tells its own story while celebrating the talented local artists, students and community members who make Hampton Bays so special.

Love this Shell!! The Sea of Information Shell comes from the cover of a book called Rainbow Fish. The colors really make this so eye catching. The shell was beautifully done by @avrilfox94 and is located on Ponquogue Ave in front of the Hampton Bays Library .
