Just a little reminder, you CAN have drawers with hinged doors with IKEA Pax! 🫶🏼

So If you want hinged doors with Pax drawers, this is what you need!!

From Amazon (linked in bio)

AND they worked with the other standard hinges I brought on Amazon for the rest of the doors.

Cost breakdown 🤎

*this is based on non-sale prices & slight over budgeting*

This is the cost breakdown of our media wall! I absolutely loved making this and it feels so much more expensive than it was, and we were quoted a lot more than the final cost 🫶🏼 so im glad we gave it a go ourselves! & I’m hoping I remembered everything!!

One thing I know I missed was paint, we used two sample pots (approx £10) & IKEA now also have a price drop on but I have done as original prices!

The sunshine hitting another ikea diy 🤎

We did the same to these bedside tables as I did to the hemnes chest of drawers! These were technically first and my tester run to see if it would work and I LOVE them!

Snippets from our living room transformation 🤎

This room has been a process of stages, firstly everything HAD to come out… and this room immediately transformed with new flooring and paint, but then it was time to bring the cottage cosy vibes back.

Media wall - I always knew I wanted a media wall but originally this was going to be on the opposite wall to where it ended up, and honestly I’m so glad we changed our minds, having it as a vocal point of the room and visible from the moment we walk in was definitely the right choice!
Cabinets & Shelves - Havsta IKEA

Sofas arrived! - I was on the hunt for a sofa like this for ages and I finally came across these from Ikea! They have definitely been a favourite purchase we’ve made! They are stunning and so comfy, and a massive perk, they’re washable!
Sofas - Hyltarp IKEA

Panelling - I mean… it was inevitable that panelling was going to end up in here, I am surprised it took so long 🤣 but I was stuck between styles and having the room layout perfected before starting. Essentially the panelling just adds some definition to the room, then we repainted the walls Skimming Stone again.
Panelling - Astragal & Torus from B&Q

Rust Oleum Browning Wax in Dark 🤎

It was so easy to use! Was a little messy on my hands only. But switched and used gloves! @rustoleumuk
