Rougham Pumpkins at @roughamestate is always one of our favourites for an autumn day out! And the best bit? ENTRY IS FREE! 🙌

Camp burgers, anyone?🍔

We put our new @ridgemonkeyoutdoors pans *gifted* to the test on our latest camping trip! They kindly sent us the XL Deep Pan and the XL Anniversary Pan and I’m already wondering how we managed without them…

I absolutely love that both pans are 2 pans in 1, making them so versatile for camp cooking. The anniversary pan is also perfect for things like crispy potatoes and chips… because camping food definitely needs a good side 😋

We can’t wait for more camping trips next year. With these pans in our kit, I think we can definitely be a bit more adventurous with our outdoor cooking…

Did I make myself cry editing this? Maybe 😭

It really is so true what they say, blink and they grow up so fast. I can’t believe we’ve nearly got a 4 year old, this year feels way more emotional than others I think its because it feels like the final year of little before everything becomes big 🥹

Our final camp of the year and what a lovely way to end it! 🏕️

We spent one night at Fen Farm on Mersea Island which was a beautiful little campsite, perfectly placed close to the beach, a local pub and with lovely clean facilities.

It was also our first camping trip with the dog and it went so much better than expected so we can’t wait for next year to take him again.

Now it’s time to pack everything away for the winter… until spring 🌺

This weekend we stayed on Mersea Island for the first time and I think we’ve fallen a little bit in love with the place…

Our final camping trip of the year and Ralph’s first time joining us, swipe to see what we got up to! 🏕️🐾

On Friday evening I went to a ladies night at @merseawaterpark which was so lovely despite the weather 🌧️ We went paddle boarding and we even braved the Aqua park 😂

Saturday we spent the day with friends at @santorinibeachhutwestmersea 🤍

We headed to the campsite to set up and stayed at Fen Farm Caravan site, a really lovely spot! Cooked up burgers for tea and a bacon sandwich for breakfast using our new @ridgemonkeyoutdoors pans! (gifted)

Ralph’s first time camping went well, as you can see he made himself nice and comfy in Arthur’s @olproeverywhere Blanko 😂

Then today we went to Cudmore Grove Country Park which was so lovely!

We went for a nice walk along the beach and back to the park for a little play, the views were beautiful 😍 It cost £5.50 to park for 4 hours which was good!

When we stayed at @wildcanvascamping a few weeks ago Arthur requested pancakes for breakfast… and of course, I was more than happy to oblige 😋🥞

These pancake shakers from @sainsburys made it SO easy - just add water, shake and fry! Literally ideal for camping, and they tasted so good too 🙌🏼

Our @cadacdometicuk Cook 2 Pro stove is of course perfect for it. One side for the pancakes, the other for boiling the kettle for our morning cuppas ☕️ and of course the @olproeverywhere windbreak keeping the wind off👏🏻

Now I’m desperate to squeeze in one more camping trip before the season is over… but would we be completely crazy to camp in a tent at the end of October? 👀🍂⛺️

S U M M E R F E S T 2 0 2 6!

We had such a lovely afternoon at @summer_fest_suffolk in Framlingham yesterday! The circus, Punch and Judy and Zoo and the fair were so fun for kids and there was some really great stalls to! Loved that it was dog friendly also! 🐾

For food we opted for a cheeseburger from @fire.truck.food , the taco-ting pizza from @boomtingpizza and some duck loaded fries from @theducktruck 👌🏻

Then the music was great, 2 stages full of fun! We watched the Shania Twain tribute, @amellebofficial and of course @scoutingforgirls which was so nostalgic for me as the Sugababes and SFG were 2 of my first gigs all those years ago 🥹

The only thing that let it down was the no picnics/wagons scenario, this rule was changed on the Saturday but unfortunately we didn’t receive any communication about it so turned up with no wagon (we were hoping to take it to keep A settled in the crowds). Nonetheless he did really well and we still had lots of fun 👏🏻

Is it too early to mention the C word? 👀🎄✨

I really hope that Christmas markets are going to be come a yearly tradition for us, last year we visited Frankfurt for a traditional German market, this year we’re heading to Edinburgh with @aohostels and can’t wait!

When I tell you these @olproeverywhere tent pegs are life changing, I’m not even joking 👏🏻 ad

We had an awful experience a few months ago where hammering the pegs in took longer than the entire set up, there’s nothing worse than hard ground 😂 These drill in pegs go into the ground so effortlessly, I don’t know how we survived without them now!
