🚨 WE HAVE BLINDS. 🚨

After months of living in a new-build fish bowl, THE PUBLIC CAN NO LONGER SEE US. 🐟😂

No more: 👀 Neighbours watching
👀 Builders getting a full tour
👀 Me hiding away from the windows when someone walks past

Of course, choosing the blinds required approximately 847 decisions…

Roman? Linen? Stone?

WHY IS THIS SO HARD?!

Then came the price. 💀

Apparently privacy is a luxury.

Did I immediately question whether I'd made the right choice after paying for them?

Obviously. 😂

But LOOK AT THEM. 🤎

Cosier. More finished. More ours.

Fish bowl era = officially OVER. 🐟🚫

Bank account: traumatised.

Me: obsessed. 😂

Anyone else massively overthink home purchases AFTER they've already paid for them?! 👇

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN HAS ARRIVED AT OURFOREVERFIELDS 👻🎃

Well, well, well… look who’s started turning the house into a bloody pumpkin patch! 😂🧡

The pumpkins are coming out, the spooky sh*t has begun, and my bank account is officially frightened. 💸🎃🤣

Do I need 7 pumpkins? No.
Will I be buying more? Absolutely. 💁🏼‍♀️🕸️

Welcome to OURFOREVERFIELDS, where my husband thinks we’ve got enough Halloween tat… and I think we’ve barely bloody started. 👀😂🖤

Spooky season is my personality now. Please respect my privacy during this difficult time. 💀🤣

Now tell me… who else is one minor inconvenience away from buying another pumpkin? 🙋🏼‍♀️🎃

And don’t even mention Christmas yet… I’m already stockpiling my decorations in secret 💀🎄😂

A little confession from behind the Instagram account… 🤍

Sometimes I feel like a complete imposter on here.

I see other creators growing, landing collaborations and producing beautiful content, and I wonder whether I'm actually cut out for this.

Then I remember that I'm doing this alongside a full-time job, two children, family life and all the other things that come with being a grown-up. 😂

I'm not an interior designer. I'm not a professional photographer. And my house certainly doesn't look Instagram-ready 24/7.

I'm just someone who loves making our house a home and sharing the journey along the way.

And the fact that so many of you have chosen to follow along still blows my mind.

So here's your reminder, and probably one I need to hear myself:

You don't have to be the best, the biggest or the most polished to deserve a place in this space.

You just have to be you.

Have you ever felt like an imposter on Instagram?

Whether you're a creator, a small business or just someone putting yourself out there, I'd love to hear your experience. 🤍

Sunday reset: because apparently the house doesn't clean itself and Monday refuses to cancel itself. 🫠🤎

A little bit of tidying, a lot of washing and attempting to restore some order before another week of working full-time, school runs and family chaos.

Our home will never be perfect, and honestly, I don't want it to be. But a cosy, tidy-ish home to start the week? I'll take it.

Now, place your bets on how long it stays like this. 😂👇

Be honest… are you a Sunday reset person or a Sunday scaries person?
