Last week was the ‘Our Rooted Knowledge’ workshop co-facilitated with @ourgreenstories_ at @shapeslewisham🌱🧡

We had fruitful conversations about what knowledge means to us and how we can define it through our lived experiences. The ideas of knowledge existing in our bodies, our cultural foods, our family folktales, really guided the session and formed beautiful collages and poetry.

It was a pleasure to see the outcomes and create a space that allowed for deeper discussion about identity and justice.
Many thanks to everyone who participated! by @ourgreenstories_

Join us for ‘Our Rooted Knowledge,’ with @ourgreenstories_ 🌿
This will be a poetry and collaging workshop exploring our knowledge in land, oral histories and memory!

We will explore the power of writing and crafting in order to process deeper conversations about our heritage, connections to nature and positionality.

last month we spent a very sunny afternoon at the islington wildflowers meadows creating, storytelling and reimagining🌱

attendees were invited to make zines that spoke to how they connect to nature and how they would like this to evolve over time. reflections were deeply grounded in our identity, culture and values - reminding us that building a relationship with nature not only connects us to the land but also to one other and ourselves💚

thank you @kotophotoss for the photos and @youngwilders_ for the support🌿 by @ourgreenstories_
