It’s crazy how different this room looked last year. I’m SO glad I managed to convince Tom to paint the walls pink 🫢 Renovation | Grade 2 Listed | Bathroom Decor by @ourlistedlodge
Bobby’s nursery 🤍 Can’t believe how quickly the time has come around to finally start thinking about decorating this room 🥹 its a bit of a white box right now, but we’re thinking lots of greens, blues, dusty pinks, wood, books, fluffy toys and lots of open ended toys within easy reach 🤍 by @ourlistedlodge
Not a single room is finished and I think it’ll continue like that for a very long time… but that’s the reality of renovating on a budget! Budget renovation | Home | Grade 2 Listed by @ourlistedlodge
The power of a fresh lick of paint and new drawer knobs! 😍 Can’t believe the difference these knobs have made to this consol table! We were going to chop it up and throw it away but I’m sooooo glad we decided to spruce it up instead because it now fits in the dressing room so perfectly! The dressing room during the chaos of the extension build vs now! 😍 We absolutely love this space and I couldn’t resist sharing the progress of our dressing room - it’s all starting to come together so nicely. Our console table has had a fresh lick of paint and we’ve also fitted stunning new drawer knobs from @frenchfurniturefittings to give it a new lease of life. We also have five more of these identical knobs to fit on the top cupboards of our wardrobes which will tie the whole space together. Tom will be making these himself though so it may be a few more months until we can show you the finished wardrobes... 🤪 Ad - gifted (Layon Cabinet Knobs in Deep Antique Brass) Grade 2 Listed Renovation | Parquet | Dressing Room | Before & After by @ourlistedlodge
What a difference 6 months makes! This space is far from finished, but it’s so nice to look back at how far we’ve come and to enjoy this space in the sunshine ☀️ House Renovation | Period Property | Before & After | Grade 2 Listed Extension by @ourlistedlodge
Our perfectly imperfect feature window! One condition of our planning permission was that this window stays put. This was originally looking on to the ‘yard’ and it’s now pride of place in the middle of our extension! We’re hoping to put up a shelf/shelves in line with the window panes (thanks to Tom’s mum for the fab idea) and also tidy up the paintwork. We also need a plain socket for the underfloor heating electric box, oh, and some skirting boards will eventually hide the splashed levelling compound 🤣 The list of things to do feels quite overwhelming, but we’ll get there! by @ourlistedlodge
🛁🫧☀️no styling (hence the uneven curtain rail 🙃)… just enjoying the sunshine while I run the bath for a bit of ‘me time’. This my favourite way to relax since having Bobby - so grateful we were able to get our bathroom to a functional state before he was born! 🫶🏼 by @ourlistedlodge
In the midst of our renovation, we welcomed our perfect baby boy 🤍 DIY is on pause for the foreseeable while we soak up every second of this magical baby bubble🤍 by @ourlistedlodge
SWIPE to see the bathroom before! ➡️➡️ We had our first shower and it was BEAUTIFUL! Feels like such a luxury after washing in the bath with a gravy jug for months on end 😅 Still lots to do in here but it’s really starting to come together now 😍 by @ourlistedlodge
Vanity unit complete ✅ We tried to restore the original handles but sadly they didn’t make it out the other side, so we ordered identical ones from @handles4u and they are absolutely PERFECT! 😍 I’m also totally obsessed with this FB marketplace vintage mirror - it sits so perfectly between the wall lights and above the tap! It feels sooooo good to finally be able to style up our house again. I also enjoyed trying my best to hide the fact we don’t have any skirting boards with some house plants 😅🫣 Also, for those who guessed… of COURSE the floor tiles were going to be green! I’m totally obsessed with them!! Bathroom (still) in progress! A bit of a before and ‘during’ because the radiator isn’t fixed to the wall, the shower screen isn’t up, the tiles haven’t been grouted, there aren’t any handles on our vanity unit, nor do we have a ledge for our toilet cistern and many other things… HOWEVER, we do have a working toilet, sink and bath, so at least we have the essentials 🤪 Tom has had a super busy work schedule so it’s pretty impressive that he managed to get this much done in the spare few hours he’s been home… January is a little bit quieter though so this month it’s operation bathroom 😅 can’t wait to show you all when it’s finished!
