ad If there’s one thing this renovation has taught me, it’s that confidence and competence are, in fact, two very different things... 🫠

So, in an attempt to stop making expensive mistakes, I’ve been using the @mileseeytools MILESEEY S50 Green Laser Measure, and my favourite thing about it is how easy it is to use on my own. It helps me take accurate measurements and keep everything properly aligned, even when I’m working solo.

Also side-laser alignment?! 👀 Yes please.

If you’re renovating or tackling DIY projects too, If you’re renovating or tackling DIY projects too, the S50 can help make measuring and aligning your projects faster and easier. Here are the details:

Two years ago, we bought a house that had been empty for several years and had absolutely no idea what we were letting ourselves in for.

Two years of total chaos, 18 months of living in a caravan, and wondering (on a fairly regular basis) what the actual fuck we were doing 🥲😂

We've knocked things down, built things back up, and spent an eye-watering amount of money turning a house that had been forgotten about into somewhere we now call home.

This house has tested us in ways we couldn't have anticipated. But it's been so so worth it.

Two years in, we're nowhere near finished. There are still things to do, things to save for, and probably several more opportunities for us to question our life choices...

But we're here. We're home. And for now, that's enough. 🤍

A HUGE shout out to the wonderful Louise @cotswoldsewingschool ❤️ a fabulous 3 days 😍 if anyone fancies doing something like this, drop her a line ❤️

Next up, floor length curtains for our master bedroom 🙊🥹❤️

Side note, has anyone ever tried an invisible zip? 🫠 She's a tricky one to master.

Well, this is probably the closest this room is going to get to finished for a while 😂

But I actually love it. It’s easy to keep putting things off because you’re waiting for the furniture you want, the blinds you want, the room to be completely finished… and then you realise you’ve spent ages making a room you’re not even using. 🙃

So, sod it. Cinema night.

Also, a special shoutout to @flooringsurgeons because this floor is bloody gorgeous. The walnut herringbone has absolutely carried the aesthetic here 😂

Now I just need to win the lottery so I can buy the sofa I’ve already mentally placed in this room.

No pressure, universe x

(*Flooring was previously very kindly gifted)
