Finding the perfect campsite can turn a good RV trip into a great one.

From remote boondocking spots to unforgettable campgrounds, here's how to track down the best spots. 🔍

✅ @ioverlander helps locate everything from dump stations to quiet overnight stays

✅ @hipcamp is a go-to for reservable, unique stays and campgrounds

✅ @instagram helps scope out the vibe, must-sees and must-eats of a place before you even get there

✅ Some of the best finds come from chatting with locals, because the hidden gems don't always show up in the apps

Some adventures are best experienced on the open road, and the West Coast is the ultimate RV playground. From cruising Pacific Coast Highway to chasing waterfalls in Yosemite, RVing gives you the freedom to explore it all—on your own schedule.

Start with sun-soaked beaches in Southern California before heading inland to hidden waterfalls. Then, take in the iconic views of Yosemite and Lake Tahoe before making your way north. Oregon’s coastline is a dream for dog lovers, while Washington’s Olympic National Park and Mount Rainier offer some of the best scenery in the Pacific Northwest.

And the adventure doesn’t stop there—we’re adding even more miles this year with Banff and Baja on our list. What’s your ultimate RV bucket list destination?

Start planning your next adventure and find the perfect RV to get you there at ExploreRVs.com.

#ad | If RVing is life, then campgrounds are the lifeblood of the adventure. We used to check different websites and apps, and in most cases still had to call for a reservation.

That would always be hassle, and if we’re honest, with our lifestyle of ever changing routes and plans, we’d usually leave the reservation and calls for last minute.

But since we started using @hipcamp to search for and make reservations, it’s been so much easier. We entered and saved our RV specifics and measurements, and now when we check the app for the days we’re looking for, the map shows us what’s available and at what price. It even shows what the campground has to offer.

So if you’d like us and want to source more time on the trail and less time searching for where to stay, download the Hipcamp app. by @ourmixedjourney

This #homeonwheels might be compact, but trust us, it’s packed with everything needed for life on the road. At 26-feet long, it is small enough to be easy on the road but large enough to feel huge at the campsite, especially when the slides are open.

Here are some features that make the @thormotorcoach Delano stand out:
✔️ Tiny but mighty kitchen—because good food is essential for a road trip.
✔️ Dinette that turns into a single bed and doubles as a workstation.
✔️ Overhead bunk—a.k.a. a secret storage stash.
✔️ Gabe’s favorite spot? The recliner, of course.
✔️ Murphy bed that provides a full bedroom at night and extra space during the day.
✔️ And a split bathroom—because some things are just better separate.

This layout has been a game-changer for long multi-month travel, giving the perfect mix of space, comfort and flexibility. It's even easy to tow a Jeep behind it with no problems!
