We took our baby on a 7-day Carnival cruise to the Mexican Riviera, and I have THOUGHTS! 😂

From sleeping arrangements and what to pack to strollers, baby carriers, and figuring out how to enjoy a family vacation with a little one, there’s a lot to consider!

Anyone else tired of the algorithm pushing “aesthetic” lifestyles instead of realistic ones? 🙋🏾‍♀️🥴

No shade to the white countertops and cream couches, IF ONLY that was me! But it’s not 😂 and I know I’m my alone! Some of us have brown cabinets, dark countertops, practical furniture, kids, clutter, and a house that actually looks lived in!

And guess what? Our lives are worth watching too.

What actually happened was we had tickets to see Verity and decided to make a date night out of it! And turns out, the perfect easy date night is just finding a shopping center that has everything you need in it 😂

WE PARKED ONCE! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Dinner at @kikislaquinta was divine, grabbed dessert from @nothingbundtcakes, then walked over to @cinemark for our movie…all in the same parking lot! (FYI if you show your server at Kiki’s your movie ticket, they give you a discount 😉)

Turns out, watching a million “how to be a content creator” videos does NOT actually prepare you for being a content creator 🥴

The last few months have been a whole lot of creating, deleting, editing, overthinking, pitching, questioning the algorithm, silent quitting, beefing with Trial Reels 😒 and trying again anyway.

And I’m still VERY much figuring it out.

But I think my biggest lesson has been to stop waiting until I know exactly what I’m doing. Because I probably never will 😂 The content gets better. I get more comfortable. I learn what works for me. And then Instagram changes something and we all start over again 🫠

So here’s to learning in public, making things I’m proud of, and continuing even when I’m stuck in 200 view jail. 🫶🏾
