AMPLIFIED 2026 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: OUR NORTH

Sheffield gets to open its own festival.

Our North bring modern metalcore weight, big riffs and dirty breakdowns into contact with hip-hop and trap influence, giving them a sound that feels firmly rooted in the current UK heavy scene without becoming interchangeable with it. Their 2025 EP Everyone For Themselves pushed that identity forward, while this summer’s single Underdog sharpened the message: this is music for anyone who has been overlooked, written off or told where their ceiling should be.

That makes them an especially fitting way to start Saturday at Corporation. This is a hometown band walking onto the Second Stage with something to prove, in front of a Sheffield crowd that has every reason to get behind them from the first note.

Get in early. Do not make the mistake of treating the opening slot as background music.

Second Stage | 13:20–13:45
Saturday 19 September | Corporation, Sheffield

It’s been a whole year since Everyone For Themselves released, and what a year it’s been. Playing with some awesome bands, welcoming new faces to the outfit and doubling down on who we are.

We’re ready for another year, and we’ll come out swinging.

Don’t forget to stream our new single ‘Underdog’ link in bio.

“Underdog is about the little guy, the person who is written off, overlooked, the person expected to fail. The person who despite it all, fights tooth and nail to come out on top”
