Notting Hill Carnival 2026
London August 30-31
When I’m not shooting somewhere exotic with the fantastic crew at @oursecretlab as lead photographer for @oursecretlab_capture, it does not mean I down tools. Photography is not a job but rather a joy- just like the images in this carousel. Carnival is one of the best dates in the London calendar and an absolute pleasure to document.

Here’s the story about how @cass_oursecretlab & @braxton feat. @myramonoka.wav - “Reciprocity” came to life (OUT NOW on Beatport featuring some excellent remixes by @baunder, @pyrrhusuk, and Cass).

Back in October 2025, I saw that Cass, one of my progressive house heroes, was in my hometown, Budapest. I messaged him, and just half an hour later, we were sitting together, talking about the past, present, and future of progressive house, his musical journey, and my life as a photographer.

A few months later, he came back to Budapest again and messaged me: “It can be impossible, but can you please find me a Hungarian female vocalist for an upcoming project?” I said: Hold my beer.

Two days later, I sent him a list of singers with references, and he chose Myra Monoka. I got in touch with Myra and arranged the studio session with Cass in Budapest.

Cass invited us to join them with @eamesmusic, so my wife @boookfence and I were lucky enough to be there. And of course, my camera came along. These are some of the BTS shots I took on that day.

It was amazing to watch professionals at work and see how they put together the base of an incredible track in such a short amount of time. Being a small part of that process was a huge honor.

Thank you, Cass! This is something I’ll remember forever.

And of course, I brought a few records from my collection to get signed as well... for the second time. 😊 taken in Budapest, Hungary by @oursecretlab
