18 of us x 🇭🇷 @monperin 🌊 @eurocampholidays After a few nights of rocky sleep because I was so scared I would wake up to the crickets in my tent having fallen in my mouth, we got into the swing of a life so simple the biggest decision was on which homemade pastry to buy from my new friend each morning (his mum made them) 🥹. Holiday @josephthedreamer__ activated (keep swiping), handmade fashion show (including bikini) by @beverleysmakerys, dolphins in the wild and @drinkkultura on repeat. So grateful. TAKE ME BACK. by @ourslowhome_

Made this while guttural sobs erupted. The combo of the lyrics, their tiny faces moving across the screen, and the ache of gratitude.Being their Mum is my favourite job. This term we’ve been studying a business topic with our homeschooling neighbours. Deep dives on the advertising industry, cost analysis, market research, marketing, customer care. It has filled my heart with SO much joy. Part of the challenge was for the kids to start their own business. So here is ‘Sunny Studio’ from Heppy. She’s selling handmade key chains. All her! Lazarus arrived on his due date, Good Friday, two years ago in an unexpected but secretly longed-for free birth at home. I love the way he whispers “goodnight moon,” is obsessed with spoons, parmesan cheese and putting the bins out. He waves hello to his poo and is the absolute MVP and most doted on member of any gathering. He loves to worship, drink rooibois, work a crowd, and take the heads off playmobil people. He’s drawn on more walls, opened more packets in secret, and crossed far more lines than H & M combined. He is smart and defiant, a jester and comic. I’m utterly obsessed with his popped-out little tummy when he’s eaten dinner, and the way he *shouts* “Mama.”I love how he is instantly comforted by my closeness and I want to inhale his little smooshy toes, stare at his brown saucer eyes and camp out in his juicy neck caverns that make him giggle, for the rest of my life. He is dreamier than I could have ever imagined. Happy birthday, Lazarus Shepherd. 🎂 by @ourslowhome_
