I got to start somewhere, right?
Creativity doesn't come to me as fast as it used to and I feel like I lost a part of myself. So I will make time to start with creativity again and maybe find myself along the way. by @out.floating

This is taking me awhile but I am painting a new mural in the dining area.

I promise you this wasn't my intention. I made a project with shrink plastic and when I heated it up the pleasant expression turned to a diabolical one. It is just so perfect because it is hiding in the bushes. 🤣

The evolution of the wall mural.

I wish I drew my idea before taking my brush on the wall. All I knew was I wanted peonies. I wanted to go all mood with this project. It took a long time before my mood settled.

Trust the process.

I had no process though but eventually ended up with something. No-process-process? I wouldn't recommend.

I still need to make things neat but overall this is it. I started back in March and now it is May. I thought this whole thing would take 2 weeks but I didn't know what I liked and kept changing it.

What I really wanted is to get some creativity flowing again, that in itself is a process too. Something I haven't figured out yet.

I like this 18th version of my peonies mural though. Yes, me.

I have been painting my wall for about a month now. I don't have a plan and have painted and repainted. What am I doing?

Silence
I catch the pattern
Of your silence
Before you speak

I do not need
To hear a word
In your silence

Every tone I seek
Is heard

Langston Hughes

One of the first poems I memorized many, many moons ago.
