Beauty goes to Miss Tunapuna/Piarco Pageant👑✨
.
Tunapuna/ Piarco Regional Corporation, Miss Tunapuna/Piarco Pageant 2025 (Nov. 22)
.
The Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, in its celebrations of ‘Tunapuna Week’, hosted its second go of their Miss Tunapuna/Piarco Pageant under the theme “Legacy of the Crown”. Segments included introductions, talent, ethnic wear, evening gowns and Q+A, which really showed off the beauty of the region!
I enjoyed seeing the ladies pour themselves into everything they presented and even got to snap a selfie with Miss Tunapuna/Piarco 2024 @simply_i.m.a.n
As a resident of the Tunapuna/Piarco region, I was filled with pride. Congratulations to all the participants, and special congratulations to Miss Tunapuna/Piarco 2025 @amdominiquee Thank you @tunapunapiarcoregional for your warm invitation.

Beauty goes to DCFA’s Legacy Year Events👑✨
.
Rhythm and Culture 2025 (Dance Unit Showcase held at the Queen’s Hall Winnifred Atwell Auditorium, Nov. 8) and The New Directors’ Forum, Festival of Plays 2025 (Theatre Unit held at the UWI LRC Auditorium, Nov. 21-23)
.
The UWI St. Augustine’s DCFA @uwicreative_festivalarts marks 40 years of creative excellence, beginning as a UWI Centre, and 20 years as a full department. This Legacy Year is a special celebration for all the Caribbean artists who have and will come through the department. As an alumni, I have a special place in my heart for the DCFA- “Meh navel string bury dey”, as we in T&T would say. I am blessed to be able to continue to support the department’s work in varying capacities, this year as onlooker, actress and now promoter. Check them out for more information on any of the many wonderful things the department produces☺️ DCFA!🥳
.
PS. The last picture is my cast mates, director and I post-show for “Smile Orange” which was staged on the Sunday of Festival of Plays!

Beauty goes to Best Village!👑✨ Pt.1
.
The Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition, Miss La Reine Rive 2025- Self Expression & Talent finals
.
Coming back to La Reine Rive after participating last year was an absolutely beautiful experience. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that ended this first night, the community showed up and showed out on the second night for the final five queens who were not able to perform which was extremely moving. Being present for both nights of the Talent and Self Expression finals was amazing. What an honour to witness such fantastic shows.☺️
